Happy Halloween!
Even though Halloween is not celebrated as much in Europe as it is in America, I just love some of this stuff. You've already seen Halloween manicure inspiration and my Halloween weekend manicure but then I also like to watch creative costumes and make up ideas, pumpkin carvings, baking goodies etc. Motives such as bats, skulls, cats and other spooky things always attracted me but funny enough, as years went by I just can't watch scary movies anymore. I get too scared.
Meanwhile, some pranks are just plain old funny. In the video below you can see five Halloween scares. Would you get scared by any of these? I know I would!

Movie review - World War Z (2013)
World War Z (2013) / action, horror
Directed by Marc Forster
Screenplay by Matthew Michael Carnahan, Drew Goddard, Damon Lindelof
Based on World War Z by Max Brooks
Starring: Brad Pitt, Mireille Enos, James Badge Dale, Fana Mokoena, Matthew Fox, Daniella Kertesz,
Trailer: click.
PLOT
The city of Philadelphia gets runover by something, that can only be described as zombies. A former UN employee Gerry Lane (Brad Pitt), his wife Karin (Mireille Enos) and their two daughters barely escaepe to Newark when it becomes clear that the situation is spreading rapidly and cannot be contained. Eventually they get rescued by military and flown to one of the only remaining safe places on Earth, a U.S. Navy vessel in the Atlantic. As the scientists on board try to figure out the outbreak, one plausible theory is, that the "plague" is actually a virus that could be defeated if the origin of the desease is found. It is up to Gerry to take lead on the mission and lead the scientist to the point of origin. The world's faith depends on him.
REVIEW
Most of apocalyptic films to me seems on the border of impossible but World War Z actually makes sense. While in the first part of the film there is a lot of action, second part transforms to more horror side. Despite movie had a lot of good qualities: realistic point of view, massive scale of zombies yet surprisingly bloodless, great acting, action and direction, ok script but somehow it's still average in a way and you're left wanting more. The thing I missed most: there wasn't much heart in this film. I know many of book fans were disappointed because film diverges significantly from the original book (don’t expect the adaptation of the book), there is not much originality but still, it's very enjoyable and a must see zombie film! 4/5

Polka Dots!
If you're looking for Monday's lazy manicure, it can't get any easier than this...
Base coat and Polka Dots nail polish from Maybelline. I love dense texture of dots and you can't go wrong when applying! So simple but nice!

Movie review - Kick-Ass 2 (2013)
Kick-Ass 2 (2013) / action, comedy
Directed and Screenplay by Jeff Wadlow
Based on Kick-Ass 2 and Hit-Girl by Mark Millar John Romita, Jr.
Starring: Chloë Grace Moretz, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Morris Chestnut, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Jim Carrey, Claudia Lee, Amy Anzel, Clark Duke, Augustus Prew, Donald Faison
Trailer: click.
PLOT
After the death of D'Amico in the first film, his son Chris (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) decides to leave the life of Red Mist behind and make a new start with the alias The Motherf**ker with one aim, to kill Kick-Ass (Aaron Taylor-Johnson). In the mean time Kick-Ass teams up with a group of Kick-Ass-insired "heroes" as they each try to clean the city of villains. To make the matters worse, Hit-Girl (Chloë Grace Moretz), the only one that could actually throw a punch, retires, so Kick-ass and the followers stand alone against the new supervillain and his henchmen. Will Hit-Girl let the group stand alone in their quest or will she put on the purple cape once again and reclaim her place?
REVIEW
The sequel to the 2010 superhero action-comedy Kick-Ass is well executed, full of fast paced action, stylishly, ironically ridiculous fight scenes and scornful comedy. Movie has an alright premise. Even though you approximately know what to expect, it's still enjoyable and fun to watch. Furthermore, dialogs seems real, Chloë Grace Moretz is the perfect Hit-Girl and whole cast did a solid job. I was definitely pleasantly surprised. Thrilling and entertaining! 4/5

Cats stealing dogs' beds

My Halloween manicure
Further to previous post, if you're wondering how my Halloween manicure looks like...
I decided to do something quite simple because I don't have much time. Depend's orange nail polish (nr. 242) with unevenly white cracked effect (nr. 5000) and some stickers (cat, bats and spiders).
Result? Left hand.
And right hand.
What do you think? Have a great Halloween weekend!

Stay fit!
Just a quick positive shout-out to all: those who're just beginning to workout and to those who already are! Stay motivated, stay healthy, stay fit!
I know it can be hard sometimes but stay focused, determined, strong and positive! You can do it! Love your body, challenge yourself and do your best!
Vicotoria's secret Angels are definitely staying in amazing shape. Lindsay Ellingson and Lily Aldridge were showing off Victoria's Secret's latest sporting gear at the Victoria's Secret store in New York City and Candice Swanepoel at launch of the World's Best Sports Bras from VS Sport in Houston, Texas.
Plus sporty VS video.
Keep on good work!

Last week's favorite looks (October 14 - 20)
Middle of the week and time for my last week's favorite looks (October 14 - 20).
I'm going to start with event outfits.
Allison Williams attended the Elton John AIDS Foundation’s 12th Annual ‘An Enduring Vision’ benefit gala in New York City. She wore a Dior long black dress with a shawl collar.
Brooklyn Decker lovely in Express ensemble at Express Union Square Grand Opening event in San Francisco.
Lupita Nyong’o at the premiere of film 12 Years A Slave during the 2013 BFI London Film Festival held at Odeon Leicester Square in London, England. She wore a Christopher Kane black dress with cut-outs and Louboutin shoes.
Hayden Panettiere hit the green carpet at the 2013 Environmental Media Awards held at Warner Bros. Studios in California. Fitted long-sleeved Georges Hobeika Fall dress which featured a lace top with banded panels and an orange skirt looked good on her. I only wish she would wore nude bra.
Maria Bello in structural white KaufmanFranco dress at 2013 Pink Party Presented by Elyse Walker in Santa Monica, Calif.
And street looks. Jessica Alba and Behati Prinsloo rocked hat outfits. Diane Kruger in trendy navy blue blazer (are they matching?) paired with red heels while arriving for a dinner date with boyfriend Joshua Jackson. Gisele Bundchen looks simple, casual and nice while she steps out in New York with daughter Vivian. I really like her Two By Vince Camuto sweater.

New Fall series 2013
In the last months I have alreday mentioned some of the new tv series you can start watching this fall: Crossing Lines, Dracula and The Crazy Ones.
Here are some more ideas.
Sleepy Hollow: the series is a modern-day retelling of the 1820 story The Legend of Sleepy Hollow by Washington Irving. The series premiered on Fox in the middle of September and has already been renewed for a second season. I like it so far.
Trailer: click.
Hello Ladies: a comedy starring Stephen Merchant as an Englishman who looks for love in a modern Los Angeles. I think the main character Stephen is so adorable yet I'm a bit sceptical the public will take the show for its own.
Trailer: click.
The Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: based on the Marvel Comics organization and shares the same continuity with the films in that franchise. I have only seen one episode but it was disappointing in my opinion. So artificial, fake and bad acting. Love Marvel stuff but this series didn't attract me at all. Or maybe I should watch some more episodes?
Trailer: click.
Trophy Wife: another family comedy but I'll give it a shot. I'm interested in Malin Ackerman's performance and despite being quite critical, I sometimes like to watch something light.
Trailer: click.
The Blacklist: this FBI drama has supposedly already broken the DVR records with 6 million viewers over its first seven days after release. Definitely on my to-watch list.
Trailer: click.
Masters of Sex: the series tells the story of Dr. William Masters (Michael Sheen) and Virginia Johnson (Lizzy Caplan), two pioneering researchers of human sexuality at Washington University. Looks interesting.
Trailer: click.
Do you have any suggestions, likes or dislikes so far?
