Last week's favorite looks (August 18 - 24)

Happy Sunday! I know this week is fashion overload and you guys are probably tired of fashion and style posts but I still owe you my last week's favorite looks (August 18 - 24).

Starting with street style. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley keeps on bringing goodies. She looked super stylish while arriving for a departing flight at LAX Airport. Than in cropped Isabel Marant pants, white tee and bag, plus brown aviator shades with nude stilettos. Love it!

Kate Beckinsale show off her amazing figure in black jeans with white crop top. Wow!

Two casual looks from Alessandra Ambrosio. I especially love second one with jeans, Mickey Mouse fleece and espadrilles. Gisele Bundchen lovely in jeans, white shirt and flats and Diane Kruger in black and white ensemble. Stylish and comfy!

Candice Accola looked amazing at Entertainment Weekly’s 2014 Pre Emmy Party in West Hollywood. She wore a Calla Paris skirt, Rebecca Minkoff top and Sophia Webster heels. Love her, love the look!

Michelle Dockery at the 2014 Variety & Women in Film Emmy Nominee Celebration Powered by Samsung Galaxy in West Hollywood. She opted for an all black look. She looked sophisticated and poised in her Elie Saab sleeveless jumpsuit that she styled with Christian Louboutin fishnet pointy toe pumps, a black clutch and Vita Fede earrings.

Zendaya Coleman attended the 2014 BMI R&B/Hip-Hop Awards in Hollywood, California. In the spirit of the event she wore an Rubin Singer look featuring a sculpted iridescent bandeau with knotted rope embroidery and a rope brocade skirt paired with an army style hat, yellow Louboutin pumps and a stack of bangles.

As you know last Sunday were 2014 MTV Video Music Awards. Because I prefer Emmy Awards I didn't manage to prepare full red carpet so I decided to only publish my favorite two looks. And to be honest there wasn't much to see. Or plenty. Depends from which perspective you're looking :) In fashion sense there were many catastrophes but let's focus on good!

Joan Smalls in poncho-like mini dress from Balmain, styled with black Louboutin sandals and Chopard jewels.

Nina Dobrev also solid in a color-blocked, red and black, draped gown from Zuhair Murad. She styled the look with David Yurman stud earrings, a simple ring and colorful clutch.

Emmys 2014 Red carpet (part III)

This is it! Last red carpet part at 2014 Emmy Awards. If you missed first two click, click.

Amanda Peet glowed in a long flowing chiffon floral print dress from Giambattista Valli. Simple styling, including drop earrings, a small white clutch and white sandals. Lovely.

Cat Deeley in a romantic Burberry antique rose gown with a plunging neckline and sash detail at the waist. She styled the look with a Bulgari diamond snake cuff and a Jimmy Choo clutch and a rose pink lip. Not bad.

Alicia Quarles looked breathtaking in this purple and black Dany Atrache dress. Her hair, makeup and jewellery and a Kara Ross bag all complement the dress. Love it!

Zooey Deschanel brought a pop of pink in this silk column Oscar de la Renta gown with silver Jimmy Choo pumps, a silver Roger Vivier clutch and diamond jewelry. Love the color but not the dress structure.

Jessica Pare chose a dramatic black strapless Lanvin design for the event. Her accessories included Christian Louboutin peep-toe shoes and a sliver pendant necklace from Fred Leighton.

Jennifer Westfeldt wore an embroidered bodice Marchesa gown.

Laura Prepon in an emerald and teal custom Gustavo Cadile gown with simple diamond jewelry. Lisa Rinna in her red strapless mermaid gown and Gail Mancuso in a structured cobalt blue dress.

Adrienne C. Moore opted for dark sparkly dress, Dascha Polanco in a white strepless princess gown with a silver beaded waist embellished and statement necklace. Another strepless red dress wore Shaun Robinson.

Deep V-neck gowns. Carrie Ann Inaba donned a flowy white gown with a bedazzled belt.

Viola Davis wore a violet-blue Escada gown with a paillette-embellished. She contrasted the blue with a deep ruby clutch, matching Sutra earrings and a red lip.

Retta in a white and floral printed gown and Kristen Schaal also in a white frock.

Danielle Brooks in a custom Nathaniel Paul white gown with a delicate embroidered bodice. Her styling included a Swarovski clutch, Brumani bracelet, Antonini rings and Open Hearts by Jane Seymour™ collection earrings. Nice.

Michelle Hurst in red and black combo I approve.

Kelly Rutherford in short sleeved gown. Next!

Octavia Spencer went for a bold red gown from her go to designer Tadashi Shoji. Custom gown was styled with a deep crimson Rauwolf octagonal clutch and ruby gemstone Lorraine Schwartz earrings. Like!

Madeline Brewer wore a figure-enhancing Theia strapless gown with an origami bodice. Madeline styled her look with a Lauren Merkin clutch and a selection of jewels.

Syd Wilder in a simple ivory strapless gown with a subtle train and a slit.

Taryn Manning in a vintage Azzaro gold dress from What Goes Around Comes Around, Jerome C. Rousseau shoes, and Suzanne Kalan jewelry. Not a good look for her.

Jessica Williams opted for a Angela Dean Couture Antique gold and black brocade cocktail dress with square neckline and black pleats.

Kiernan Shipka in an Antonio Berardi dress, Kwiat jewelry and Jimmy Choo shoes and bag.

Zoe Soul in a red and nude rococo-patterned cocktail dress with white pumps.

Laura Fraser in short black dress looked more fitting for a casual business lunch than a red carpet.

Alysia Reiner wore an Alexander McQueen pink gown with draped hips and a decadent arrangement of pearly beads and rhinestones on the front. A Jimmy Choo ombre clutch, silver Jimmy Choo shoes and Sidney Garber jewels accessorized the look.

Brooke Anderson also wore a soft pink Alon Livné column gown.

Jimmy Kimmel with wife Molly McNearney in mirrored dress.

Bryan Cranston with wife Robin Dearden in a silver Ralph Lauren dress. Ben Feldman with wife Michelle Mulitz and Adam Goldberg with Roxanne Daner.

More couples. Scott Bakula with Chelsea Field, Colin Hanks with Samantha Bryant and Matt LeBlanc with Andrea Anders in Natalia Fedner dress.

We also have Fred Armisen with Carrie Brownstein in black one shoulder Halston Heritage dress.

Kate Walsh wore a bright yellow structural peplum Stephane Rolland cap-sleeved gown with a Jimmy Choo clutch, Stuart Weitzman shoes and some perfectly placed Chopard jewels.

Jodie Foster and her wife Alexandra Hedison didn't walk on red carpet but were seen during the show. Jodie opted for a Max Mara gown and ring by Melissa Kaye Jewelry and EF Collection.

Ty Burrell with Holly Anne Brown, Bertram Van Munster with Elise Doganieri and Ricky Gervais with Jane Fallon.

Sufe Bradshaw in dark blue and black gown with a train. Not the best look for her.

Yael Stone in a black gown with a sheer-panel bodice, a thigh-high slit, and a long train. Fail for so many reasons.

Seth Meyers with Alexi Ashe in a J Mendel dress and Monique Péan earrings.

I hope you've enjoyed this huge red carpet as I did! Here are also my TOP 5 picks:

2014 EMMYS, BEST DRESSED: Natalie Dormer, Teyonah Parris, Sofia Vergara, Sarah Hyland, Alicia Quarles

2014 EMMYS WORST DRESSED: Lena Dunham, Cicely Tyson, Taryn Manning, Kristen Schaal
and Kaley Cuoco

What are your toughts on this year's red carpet?

Emmys 2014 Red carpet (part II)

Second red carpet part at 2014 Emmy Awards. If you missed first one click here.

Natalie Dormer was one of my favorite in a form-fitting orange and brown dress from J. Mendel with Sophia Webster Tyra pumps and Fred Leighton jewels.

Padma Lakshmi in a white minimalist Ralph Rucci Couture sleeveless dress, Manolo Blahnik shoes, Fred Leighton ring and earrings and a Judith Leiber bag.

Sibel Kekilli opted for a beautiful red loose dress with gold belt and matching clutch. I really like structured dresses but this one looked very good.

Newlyweeds Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo in a black Prada dress with Jacob & Co earrings.

Aaron Paul along with his wife Lauren Parsekian in white gown.

Heidi Klum wore a coral Zac Posen gown with draped short sleeves. She accented the look with a Jimmy Choo sandals and clutch, plus emerald and diamond Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. After quite some time Heidi looked very sophisticated.

Felicity Huffman wore a sleek black column gown and studded clutch with Martin Katz jewelry. Plain yet nice.

Michelle Monaghan in a simple longsleeved gown from Giambattista Valli Couture with a front split skirt. She styled the look with gold Christian Louboutin sandals, a metallic M2Malletier clutch and Irene Neuwirth jewelry.

Teyonah Parris was a breath of fresh air in this Christian Siriano lime silk overlay gown with a striped bodice. Styled with a Carrera y Carrera ring, drop earrings, a topknot and that infectious smile, she was definitely of my favourites on this red carpet.

Melissa Rauch opted for strapless gown once again. This time she wore a Pamella Roland dress, Stuart Weitzman shoes, a Judith Leiber clutch and a Sutra ring and earrings. Sweet? Sure. Boring? Also.

Alexandra Daddario wore a fit, shimmering, nude Reem Acra gown with a black lace applique. She accented the slinky number with Jimmy Choo sandals and black jewels. Sexy!

Camila Alves wore a sleek white gown with all-over geometric cutouts from Zuhair Murad. She accessorized the look perfectly with a white Aldo clutch, sparkling rings and Brian Atwood pumps. Hard dress to pull it off but she did it!

Keltie Knight in a Patricia Bonaldi gown and Bavna Jewels earrings.

January Jones wore a patterned strapless Prabal Gurung gown with a high low hem. A Rauwolf clutch, simple Jack Vartanian jewelry and black strappy Christian Louboutin sandals completed the dramtic look.

Betsy Brandt opted for a custom Alice + Olivia floral dress and clutch with Tacori jewelry.

Debra Messing in an abstract Angel Sanchez dramatic look with graphic sensibility and variations on the midnight blue hue. She styled the look with a silver Judith Leiber clutch and Chopard jewels. I like it.

Amanda Crew in a white Max Azria Atelier dress, Amanda Pearl clutch, Neil Lane jewels and Aldo shoes. Lovely.

Taissa Farmiga in an Honor dress, Chelsea Paris shoes, Kotur clutch and Vhernier earrings. Interesting but not sure I like it.

Kaley Cuoco wore a layered tulle Monique Lhuillier gown with pink floral accents and a structured bodice. To accompany the look, she wore red Chelsea Paris sandals, a Swarovski clutch and simple Graziela Gems and Jennifer Fisher jewels. Na-a.

Keke Palmer wore a dramatic cobalt colored Rubin Singer gown with a Swarovski clutch, Jimmy Choo pumps and some well-placed Chopard jewels. Worth a second look!

Liz Hernandez in simple slick black gown with matching necklace and bracelet.

Kim Dickens looked amazing in this strapless dark blue gown with a gold belt and red-gold clutch.

Allison Williams wore a dramatic Giambattista Valli Couture gown with Brian Atwood sandals and subtle Van Cleef & Arpels jewels. Allison's style is great, what else can I say?

Mother-to-be Hayden Panettiere opted for a fitted sequined chiffon gown from Lorena Sarbu with a deep cleavage. A small crystal-encrusted clutch and jewelry from Fred Leighton completed the look. She looks so radiant and good!

Katherine Heigl in a vintage, champagne colour, silk John Hayles dress, Chopard jewels, Christian Louboutin shoes and Oroton clutch. Nothing exciting.

Lucy Liu in a draped Zac Posen sheer effect gown with sultry corset-inspired detailing and a train. She styled the look with a Jimmy Choo clutch and Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

Nancy O'Dell in black lace sheer dress with a train was not bad considering how many horrible looks we've seen from her.

Louise Roe in a multicoloured Monique Lhullier dress and shoes, Martin Katz jewels and an Edie Parker clutch. I think accessory are too matchy but I do like the dress.

Moira Walley-Beckett chose a black gown with a voluminous skirt and train.

Giuliana Rancic in a strapless red mermaid gown by Gustavo Cadile. Nice.

Julianne Hough white satin strapless dress with large waistline bow and poufy skirt is from Dsquared². She styled the look with a simple diamond necklace by Chopard, an emerald Swarovski clutch and white Casedei stiletto pumps. Her style for appearances has become really good but when it comes to red carpets, she still has some work to do.

Samira Wiley in yellow trumpet Christian Siriano gown with only Graziela Gems ear cuffs and a ring by EFFY Jewelry.

Vanessa Williams in a spring green peplum gown.

Rose Leslie in a two-tone navy blue gown which included a daring neckline and a jewelled waist. She styled the look with a bronze clutch bag and dark red lips. This dress looks like it's crumpled.

Sarah Silverman looked nice wearing an emerald green Marni silk-faille pleated gown with a plunging neckline and open back, which she paired with a crystallized belt from Marni’s Evening Collection. Her styling included a Jimmy Choo cage clutch, Pasquale Bruni diamond earrings and rings courtesy of Le Vian and Dionea Orcini.

Brooke Newton in a red mermaid gown with bondage-style cutouts.

Halle Berry wore an Elie Saab dusty-pink chiffon gown with velvet trims and a thigh-high slit. She rounded out her look with a Doves by Doron Paloma amethyst and mother of pearl earrings and a Sutra sapphire ring.

Chelsea Peretti opted for a red halter gown with a thigh-slit.

Gwen Stefani sparkled in a slinky silver Atelier Versace two-piece number, embellished with peekaboo metal hardware.

Kelly Osbourne in an Honor dress, Beladora jewelry provided by LoveGold and Aldo shoes.

Mindy Kaling in a custom Kenzo coral red halter gown with silver embellishment. She accessorized the dress with a Kotur clutch and a Swarovski ear cuff.

Emmys 2014 Red carpet (part I)

Yay! Time for the first part of the red carpet at Emmys 2014.

The biggest trends were colors red, white and blue, plus some shimmery metallics, strapless gowns and classy midriffs. In this part I focus on Emmy nominees.

Michelle Dockery in Rosie Assoulin gown with petal like detailing and plenty of color. Plenty of delicate Ana Khouri rings and pearl ear cuffs add elegance to the look. I like that she's experimenting but I just didn't feel that wow factor.

Claire Danes was one of the many ladies in red. She wore a lace Givenchy gown with collar embroidery paired with a crystal-embellished belt and multi-strap sandals along with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. I would love this dress in black so it would be more dramatic.

Lizzy Caplan in a black and white silk gazar and sheer Donna Karan Atelier gown with high neck criss-cross straps. She styled the look with Pearl and diamond jewelry and box clutch. This dress is kind of bittersweet if you ask me. I love monochrome and the shape but it's quite boring on the other hand. She still looks great though.

Julianna Margulies shimmered in a custom Narciso Rodriguez black crystal embroidered dress with a Narciso Rodriguez graphite leather clutch, diamond earrings and a rose-cut Hemmerle ring. I like the front but back not so much.

Robin Wright in very chic custom made Ralph Lauren cream tuxedo inspired jumpsuit. Edgy! Like it!

Kerry Washington in orange double silk strapless column Prada gown with blue, green and clear micro-bed enriched edges and an underlying navy mini skirt embroidered with crystals and paillettes. A Prada clutch and pumps and Fred Leighton jewelry completed the look. Kerry likes to take risks but this one didn't pay off. And I would change hairstyle too.

Anna Gunn in Jenny Packham dress consisted of a long blue skirt with thigh high slit and a single-shoulder white print top. She styled the look with Edie Parker Lara clutch and gold ankle strap sandals. Sweet.

Joanne Froggatt in a very simplistic Grecian like J. Mendel soft-pink silk chiffon V-neck pleated dress with a chain link embroidery adding texture. Chopard earrings rounded out her look. Nice but easily forgettable.

Christina Hendricks in red and gold Marchesa satin one-shoulder gown with beaded detail at the waist, Stuart Weitzman heels, Neil Lane jewelry and a Lee Savage clutch. This dress didn’t flatter her figure as well as I would hoped.

Lena Headey in black Rubin Singer gown, featured an asymmetrical neck and hemline, a tucked bodice and full pleated skirt with peep-toe pumps. Nice.

Christine Baranski in blue three quarter sleeve dress with a train.

Kate Mara in a layered and pleated J. Mendel gown with black and white Charlotte Olympia Pomeline platforms and a black and white Thalé Blanc’s Gisele Deux clutch. Too much mash of everything but I like the accessory.

Allison Janney in a Nicholas Jebran dress, Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, Judith Leiber bag and Christian Louboutin shoes. No, no, no. I don't like the texture, I don't like the shape and I don't like the color. I wish she would opted for something else.

Edie Falco in an Escada silk bluebell dress and Fred Leighton jewelry.

Lena Dunham in voluminous pink to red Giambattista Valli number that featured a baby pink blouse with a ballgown skirt. Yaiks! it's all I'm going to say!

Taylor Schilling in a diaphanous gown from Zuhair Murad with a draped back, Stuart Weitzman shoes, a white Raowulf clutch and diamond jewelry from Forevermark jewelry. After seeing her on many occasions in beautiful colorful creations I was so disappointed about her pick.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus in a red custom Carolina Herrera dress featured asymmetrical pleats at the waist and neckline. Accessories included the Lee Save Infinite Space clutch and a diamond cuff by Lorraine Schwartz. Nice!

Amy Poehler in Theia silver sequined gown with Lorraine Schwartz jewels. Naah.

Melissa McCarthy in custom black Marchesa ball gown featured a tulle skirt with a panel of jet crystals and sequins. She styled the look with a Jimmy Choo Cosma clutch, a noir manicure and an onyx-stone ring. Step in a good direction for sure.

Julie Bowen in a Peter Som black halter gown with a cutout and an abstractly blurred, blue and white recurring floral print. A Rauwolf black clutch and Jacob & Co. black gemstone pendant earrings rounded out her look. Already forgotten.

Kate Mulgrew kept things simple in a blue dress which featured sheer sleeves and a neckline. Sheer part adds something to this simple look. Nice.

Kate McKinnon in a black J. Mendel gown with a sheer lace bodice, V-neck and pleated skirt. Solid.

Anna Chlumsky in a simple white pleated Zac Posen gown with a gold box clutch, diamond and amber drop earrings and diamond rings. Pretty but a bit boring.

Sarah Paulson in a dark gothic Armani Prive gown with red-dotted netting was certainly one of the more striking pieces of the night. She completed the look with Lorraine Schwartz rings, straight bob and nude makeup. Like it!

Jessica Lange in a black J. Mendel dress and Le Vian jewelry. Damn, she still lokks amazing!

Minnie Driver opted for a raspberry-hued Marchesa sleeveless silk crepe gown with a plunging neckline enriched with crystals, Stuart Weitzman Sadie pumps and a selection of complementary jewels. Upper body part of the dress looks kind of weird.

Natasha Lyonne wore a custom Opening Ceremony dress, Amanda Pearl clutch, Rupert Sanderson heels, vintage gold choker, Bella Dora bracelets and Vita Fede earrings and ring. I only wish the dress wouldn't had fishtail part.

Uzo Aduba in a Christian Siriano custom red silk gown with ruffles. One of the best dressed ladies in red!

Laverne Cox in white custom Marc Bouwer plunge gown with sleek draping and the diaphanous train, Stuart Weitzman heels and a few sparkling Fred Leighton jewels.

Kristen Wiig wore an ivory halter silk charmeuse gown with a plunging V-neck and high slit by Vera Wang. A couple of bangles from Fred Leighton and Jennifer Meyer were her only accessories. The dress would look even better without the split.

Mayim Bialik in a blue lace, full skirt Oliver Tolentino dress, a Daniel Swaroviski clutch, Marcia Moran earrings, Erickson Beamon necklace, a Marcia Moran ring and Zara heels. This gown looks way too heavy on her.

Cicely Tyson in white feather ensemble. When it comes to her... I think I already seen it all!

Kathy Bates wouldn't get best dressed award but she got her Emmmy! Frances Conroy in a simple black dress and Angela Bassett in a white Elisabetta Franchi long-sleeved gown accented with gold chain detailing on the wrists and a gold leather waistband. David Yurman jewels, an Oroton Freize gold clutch and Giuseppe Zanotti heels accessorized her look. Like.

Julia Roberts surprised us all by not wearing long dress. Instead she opted for a dark blue Elie Saab Couture cocktail frock featuring oversized beading, a riff on a peplum waist and the plunge neckline. She styled the look with Christian Louboutin Vendome peep-toe pumps and Irene Neuwirth jewels but the prettiest was definitely her radiant smile!

Allison Tolman in a green one shoulder Romona Keveza dress and a Swarovski bag.

Ellen Burstyn in baby blue ensemble. Too. Much. Same. Color.

Sofia Vergara in a white, structured Roberto Cavalli gown with silver accents, Brian Atwood heels and diamond and emerald Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. You know what? Sofia is predicatble but still so hot and elegant at the same time that I just can't complain!

Ariel Winter in youthful Black Halo Eve two-piece look featuring a black crop top and striped maxi skirt. She accessorized with Vita Fede jewels, Ferragamo heels and a pop of colour courtesy of her Swarovski Nirvana Star red satin clutch. She's finally making a good choices! Nice!

Sarah Hyland looked amazing in a custom Christian Siriano two-piece white and red ensemble. Bow-shaped diamond earrings by Lorraine Schwartz added more cute, fun yet still sophisticated flair of this look. Like!

The youngest of Modern Family cast Aubrey Anderson-Emmons wore a custom Tea Collection dress.
