1. STRIPES
You don't have to read between the lines, because stripes are in big time! Horizontal, vertical or multi-directional, thick or thin, you decide! I love them but watch out that you won't look like wearing a PJ or a prisoners' suit!
2. ALL WHITE
White is a must have! You can wear dresses, pants, oversize white shirts or tuxedo jackets and it looks fresh and sophisticated! I can't wait to finally wear my pretty white dress <3
3. BLACK & WHITE
Back to basics! You can't go wrong with B&W. There are so many ways to wear them! Worth mentioning: checkerboard patterns are big this season. Classic combination with a modern playful twist.
4. SEE THROUGH
We're definitely going to see some skin flashing from sheer fabrics. Feminine but sexy and one of the trends that I'm really looking forward to.
5. CUTOUTS and CROP TOPS
Hopefully you ladies stayed in shape because tummy showing is here!
6. NETS
Cage match is another, a bit darker, trend where you can show some skin and it's excellent for layering. Like it!
7. PRIMARY COLORS
Basic four. Deep bright bold colors of red, blue, yellow and green are here to add some fun. You can also notice that head-to-heel color is a big thing this season.
8. FLORALS
While nature is blooming, you can blossom too. Florals are still in but flowers are smaller. Must say that I liked big flower prints more.
9. LEATHER
Few seasons back was all about black leather moto jackets and pants but now it's even more about leather dresses, skirts and colorful leather.
10. LACE
What to say about lace? It continues to be one of the hottest trends. It's perfect for spring dresses, adds an elegant feel and it's seductive as well.
11. GRAPHIC
For those who aren't afraid to step out and look bold! Art, collages and photo inspired prints. But don't forget to keep accessories to a minimum so prints can really shine!
12. PASTEL COLORS
Another trend from last year that remains are ice cream pastel colors. Soft, simple but quite boring. Last year I was totally in love with this trend but this year not so much.
13., 14. NEON COLORS and BRIGHT METALLICS
Fluorescent and hot pink are in the house! Have some fun once in a while with bold colors. Another trend are metallics. You can pick from gloss metallics to mirror shine.
15. SEA COLORS
Deep blues, turquoise, azure, electric blue... all shades that you can find under the sea. Loooove blue and love this trend!
PLUS: ORIENTAL and SHORTS
East is always inspiring so Asian looks, Japanese silhouettes, kimonos, oriental blossoms and silky loungewear are no surprise. Then of course we have shorts that are longer and more structured.
RUFFLES and V CUTS
There's going to be lot of ruffles everywhere: on skirts, dresses, shirts. I'm not fond of ruffles so there is no doubt I'll pass that trend. Another occasion where you can show your curves and long neck are V cuts.
I will finish of with SPLIT FRONT SKIRTS/DRESSES and BOMBER JACKETS
Last year Angelina Jolie's leg on Oscars inspired fashion world so we'll see them even more frequently. Meanwhile, sporty trend on right side, bomber jackets.
Nevertheless, pick trends that are suited for you and you feel comfortable wearing them. Don't buy trends just because there are in at the moment. Complete your own style with them and have some fun!
