REVIEW
Without a doubt one of the best movies in 2013. First of all, the script is excellent, fantastic and main focus of the film. Intelligent, real, humorous, sharp! Don't expect much going on in typical ways. Of course they're changing locations but they don't do much. Leading characters Céline (extraordinary brilliant Julie Delpy) and Jesse (also very good Ethan Hawke) debate about love and life. At the begining also with others members of the group, later only the two of them. But not in meaningless, heard it all before ways. Like I said, the script is just amazing. Conversations are long, they seem personal and detailed but also so relatable for everybody. Does love really last, romantic vs. rational love, new digital ways of love, compromises, how relationships aren't perfect, who should give up what, a man and modern strong woman's point of view, how things change when you have children, how to stay in touch with kids when you're divorced and so on. Plus all these other problems we come across sooner or later in relationship and life. What else? Locations of shooting are beautiful and Julie's performance is top. I'm so impressed! Just excellent, wonderful film on so many levels, you definitely need to see! 5/5
