PLOT
The film follows a Mafia family: father Fred Blake/Giovanni Manzon (Robert De Niro), his wife Maggie (Michelle Pfeiffer) and their two kids, Belle (Dianna Agron) and Warren (John D'Leo). They are under the witness protection program by the supervision of Agent Robert Stansfield (Tommy Lee Jones). Now, their new location of living is a small town in Normandy, France. As the family adjusts to life in the town, each family member runs into trouble... is it even possible their lives can be normal?
REVIEW
Starting with negatives. Story is too simple and filled with old American-French stereotypes, poor character development, overall pointless, plus film is quite long but don't have much to say. If acting wasn't as good as it is and the dog, this movie would suck big time. Violent scenes are a surprise (not sure they fit into the whole thing). But on the other hand is light, easy-going gangster film with some good black comedy laughs and a solid pace. Watchable? I guess so. Memorable? Definitely not. 3-/5
I love De Niro!
