Red Carpet at 2014 Critics’ Choice Television Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Thursday (June 19) in Beverly Hills, California. You know I was thrilled Breaking Bad and Aaron Paul won! Also The Normal Heart and Matt Bomer. Aaaaa! All winners here.
Back to fashion. Not a huge red carpet but we've seen some really pretty outfits! Take a look...
Diane Kruger opted for beautiful multicoloured strapless floral pieces from Elie Saab with a Lee Savage clutch and spiked earrings. Keri Russell also looked good in a sleeveless V-neck gown by J. Mendel.
Bellamy Young wore an Honor two-piece look consisting of a white crop top and grey rise-and-fall skirt, Lizzy Caplan in Valentino butterflies printed dress with sheer details and Carrie Preston in a Black Halo gown constructed with a long-sleeved black off-the-shoulder top and a floral bloom pleated skirt. Nice.
Amanda Crew in a Peggy Hartanto frock featuring a green and white print bodice with illusion panels and a black feathered peplum skirt, styled with a Rauwolf clutch and black sandals. Annet Mahendru in a black sheer BCBGMAXAZRIA gown and Laverne Cox in an Alice + Olivia dress featuring bedazzled embellishments.
Two time winner of the night (taking home the awards for Best Guest Performer in a Drama Series for Masters of Sex and Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for Mom) Allison Janney in shimmering dress, Christina Applegate in a Mikael D cap-sleeved embroidered frock, Tatiana Maslany in a Cushnie et Ochs dress with asymmetric draped overlay and Terri Seymour in fit black and white Roland Mouret combo. She wore the same dress as Sofia Vergara when she made a guest appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyer (click).
Angie Harmon in a figure-hugging Azzaro black gown with sexy sliced details one side, Natasha Lyonne in sheer Chloé, meanwhile Sufe Bradshaw and Aisha Tyler decided for quite minimalistic floor sweeping dresses. Aisha accessorize the look with a L’Dezen jewellery bracelet and Nanis Italian Jewels earrings.
Writer/producer Ann Druyan in nude gown, Laura Prepon in Alice + Olivia knotted-front maxi dress and Minnie Driver in a strapless Lorena Sarbu gown with sweetheart neckline enriched with gold embroidered details on the bodice.
Emmy Rossum in magenta one-shoulder Monique Lhuillier gown, Michelle Monaghan in white and cobalt blue peplum top wizh skinny trousers from Antonio Berardi. She styled the look with white Louboutin pumps and a blue Ferragamo clutch. Another Michelle, this time Michelle Trachtenberg. She opted for Alice + Olivia gold V-neck pleated gown.
Kaley Cuoco in Amen pinstripe harem short suit, Kat Graham in an Escada navy suit accessoried with silver mirrored Brian Atwood Besame pumps and an Emm Kuo blue clutch with sliver hardware. Mayim Bialik in a red V-neck custom Tadashi Shoji chiffon frock with lace sleeves and Carrie Brownstein on right.
Sarah Silverman in Lela Rose rose-printed fit and flare satin dress, Gina Rodriguez in a Mac Duggal dress, Ilana Glazer in a Prabal Gurung frock and Maggie Siff in a Martin Grant dress.
Allison Tolman who won the award for Best Supporting Actress in a Movie/Miniseries for her work on FX’s Fargo wore Tadashi Shoji dress. Wendi McLendon-Covey in Roland Mouret, Uzo Aduba in a glittering vintage gown and Danielle Brooks in navy blue.
Sarah Baker in black ensemble, Lauren Weedman in a peach pink fit mini and Roma Downey in Dolce & Gabbana dress with white blazer.
I usually don't post guys but here and there I make an exception. I was so happy Matt Bomer won the award for Best Supporting Actor in a Movie/Miniseries for his work in the movie The Normal Heart. And the film also got the award! Yey!
My favorites: Diane Kruger, Keri Russell and Carrie Preston
So-so: Angie Harmon, Michelle Monaghan, Emmy Rossum, Amanda Crew and Bellamy Young
Worst: Lauren Weedman, Kaley Cuoco, Annet Mahendru
