Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.) is back for the 3rd time and this time he's facing a terrorist named Mandarin (Ben Kingsley). Story begins with a flashback from a New Year's Eve party in 1999 where Tony was in company of a scientist, inventor of Extremis, Maya Hansen (Rebecca Hall) and whereTony tricked and refused scientist Aldrich Killian (Guy Pearce), who offered him a place in his company. As we know, past comes to haunts us and Tony will realize that soon enough.
In the present day, Tony lives with his girlfriend Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow), still loves his toy inventions, but is haunted by the memories of what happened with The Avengers which are causing him great anxiety attacks. When security chief Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau) gets inujured in the latest terrorist attack, Tony explodes and calls out his new adversary.

I was pleasantly surprised by the movie. It's not only packed with action but it's also fun and with decent storyline. Usually when sequels follow, story is not only predictable but totally pointless, there is not a lot of characters, funny dialogs that we already heard are almost the same etc. The latest Iron Man at least tries to stay creative and interweave action, new plots, new people and humor. I would say that this movie manages to give us entertainment and cool time watching it. Robert is excellent once again (I don't believe that anyone else could be such an amazing Iron Man) and Ben was awesome as well. I loved funny quotes and scenes, new gadgets, action scenes where it doesn't always go as planed, the fact that we can see how vulnerable Iron Man can be, some points of view (e.g. how we create our own demons) and scenes with the kid are great (I was worried for a bit that Tony is going to become all mellow and stuff). One the other hand, the love connection between Tony and Pepper could be deeper (on the bright side, they're not cheesy) and this whole terrorist revenge vendetta is a bit far fetched. In comparison to previous two movies, I think this one is the worst, but the word "worst" really it's a fair word to say here, because it really is a great blockbuster and action hero movie. 4/5
