PLOT
The film starts with James Kirk, now a captain of the Enterprise (where we left off in the first movie) on a reconnaissance mission on planet Nibiru, a simple mission to observe a primitive culture. As usual, Captain Kirk (Chris Pine) and the crew have a hard time playing by the rules as they breake the prime directive while saving Spock (Zachary Quinto) and the planet from sure demise. Stripped from rank, Kirk looses comamnd of the Enterprise. When a secret Section 31 installation on Earth is bombed Kirk and the crew once again find themselves against the odds to set things right, as they encounter Khan (Benedict Cumberbatch), their 'future most dangerous' adversary.

REVIEW
First of all, Benedict's performance as a genetically-engineered superhuman Khan was amazing! With an awesome villain like that you can easily become part of the 'dark side' and sympathize with him even more. Film is exciting to watch even though the twists and turns are a bit predictable at times and we also see some cliché moments. The film stil manages to have your attention, you care about characters, respect them and enjoy the movie. Film is visually beautiful, action is very good, adventurous (blockbuster style but good), I like the friendship between the characters and appreciate that humorous parts are not overdone. 4/5
