2014 Hollywood Film Awards Red Carpet
New red carpet recap. This time from yesterday's (November 14) 18th Annual Hollywood Film Awards at the Palladium in Hollywood, California. The event was broadcast for the first time this year. You can see the Winners here.
Jennifer Lopez looked amazing in a Zuhair Murad dress, Brian Atwood black pumps and jewelry by Norman Silverman and EFFY Jewelry. She was in attendance to present the award for Best Animated Film to How to Train Your Dragon 2, but she had a little trouble getting her words out. Jennifer kept saying How to DRAIN Your Dragon over and over before finally getting it right. She had a couple other mishaps during her speech and then Gerard Butler teased her while accepting the award. You can see cute Jen's giggles here. Speaking of Gerry. He celebrated his 45th birthday on Thursday and also posed with Hilary Swank. They starred together in one of my favorite romantic dramas P.S. I Love You so it was lovely seeing them together again.
Hilary wore an Oakwell Couture sequinned white dress with pops of pink and green, styled with Christian Louboutin pumps, a fuchsia pink Judith Lieberman clutch and Graziela Gems jewelry. Nice.
Amy Adams in a patterned shift Christian Dior dress, styled with a complementary pair of Paul Andrew bordeaux pumps and sparkling Bvlgari jewels.
Shailene Woodley in head-to-toe Valentino. This plunging silk chiffon gown with starfish pattern was perfect for her. Jenna Dewan-Tatum in a Reem Acra gown with cut-out beaded top half and white flowing skirt styled with Brian Atwood shoes. Jing Tian in a shimmering Dior Haute Couture ball gown with a red back, Dior clutch and jewelry plus red nails and lips to keep the grey-red theme going. All three look charming.
Then we have two winners in white. Keira Knightley in a Giambatista Valli gown with cherry blossom design around the shoulders, silver strappy heels and Harry Winston jewels. Julianne Moore in a Balenciaga dress with sheer sleeves and a clean silhouette, white heels and clutch, plus Harry Winston earrings.
Black. Laura Dern in a dramatic off-the-shoulder Alberta Ferretti gown and an Ethan K clutch. Gillian Flynn also in strepless gown. She wore a semi-sheer dress with black pumps. Felicity Jones donned a flowing Alexander McQueen gown with semi-sheer skirt and Brian Atwood shoes. I think high-low and sheer dressed can be very tricky and I'm not a fan of either of them.
Angelina Jolie opted for a strapless custom-made Atelier Versace floor-length grey cashmere form fitting gown. Keltie Knight in a bright yellow tiered gown, Maitland Ward in a grey strapless number with peacock feather design and Brooke Anderson in a sparkling dress.
Lauren Elizabeth in a white suit dress with long sleeves, Kristen Stewart in a grey mesh cropped top over a flared Chanel dress-skirt with Casadei grey suede pumps and Reese Witherspoon in a strapless tea length red and black J. Mendel silk chiffon frock with Harry Winston jewelry.
Emily Ratajkowski in a black DVF jumpsuit with a red pout. Janelle Monae wore a monochrome look, a kate spade new york dress and clutch, Jimmy Choo shoes, Gladys Tamez hat, Neil Lane and Kwiat jewelry. We've also seen her on stage wearing a different outfit. Geena Davis in a black and white look as well.
Kim Dickens opted for a figure-hugging Lorena Sarbudress with embellished part and Jacob & Co. jewelry. Queen Latifah looked good in a champagne fishtail Badgley Mischka mermaid gown. Carly Steel in red dress and Missi Pyle in a turquoise slip-style frock.
Teala Dunn in white mini, Gayle King in a sequinned green frock, Taryn Southern in a black top and white skirt and Amanda Steele in a crop top ensemble with trousers.

Taylor Swift - 1989 (Deluxe) Album review
Since I'm loving new Taylor Swift album 1989 I decided to share my favorite songs, lyrics and opinions with you guys.
First of all I really like this album. Did I say like? I meant love! Taylor has been playing around with pop rhythms in the past but the sound of this album is so different. I love it! Kudos to Jack! I will honestly say I was a bit afraid lyrics will not be as good as in the past but oh boy, was I worng. She's more mature but still can play with the words. Yey!
In foreword Taylor says one thing really really nice:
''I hope you know that who you are is who you choose to be. And that whispers behind your back don't define you. You are the only one who gets to decide what you will be remembered for.''
Word! Now to the album!
WELCOME TO NEW YORK
A new New York anthem it's born! What a catchy song!
''It’s a new soundtrack
I could dance to this beat, beat
Forever more
The lights are so bright
But they never blind me, me''
BLANK SPACE
Loved it the moment I heard it. The whole lyrics is so clever that I can't pick my favorite line! And the beat behind is so cool and the little things like pauses before she sings ''And I'll write your name.'' Amazing! And have you seen this video? Crazy gorgeous!
STYLE
Another great song that tells a story. I would say I enjoy the chorus most, especially back vocals and when they repeate the words ''and tight little skirt''. It just creates a sexy feel to the song. This song will not go out of style I'm telling you.
OUT OF THE WOODS
At first I didn't like the intro at all but I get use to it and I think it's a simple catchy song.
''When we decided (We decided)
To move the furniture so we could dance
Baby, like we stood a chance
Two paper airplanes flying, flying, flying''
ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS STAY
Not a big fan of the song. Those 'stay' from the back are kind of annoying for me. The song I definitely skip most.
SHAKE IT OFF
Love the vibe and the message. So damn relatable for everyone! Perfect first sngle from the album for sure! Video: here.
I WISH YOU WOULD
Similar to All you had to do was stay not playing on repeat but it has a nice music.
BAD BLOOD
Huge like! Great beat and of course the lyrics. My fav part must be
''time can heal, but this won't
So if you're coming my way,
just don't.''
Just don't, sounds so amazing and real to me. Painful with touch of offendeness I would say. Love it!
WILDEST DREAMS
The beat of this song haunts & freaks me out sometimes in a best possible way. It makes the mood of the song amazing and it's one of my favorites. The lyrics is great as well.
''I thought heaven can't help me now
Nothing lasts forever
But this is gonna take me down
He's so tall, and handsome as hell
He's so bad but he does it so well''
''And his voice is a familiar sound, nothing lasts forever
But this is getting good now''
What makes the lyrics so good is the way Taylor delivers it. The emphasis on words are perfect and she sounds honest. You feel it and therefore you connect and you love it!
HOW YOU GET THE GIRL
This song it's a bit better than All you had to do was stay and I wish you would but I would still put it in a 'not my cup of tea' category. Sound is good and it has a drive but I guess it's too poppy for me?
THIS LOVE
Beside Clean this is a beautiful slow song.
''This love left a permanent mark
This love is glowing in the dark
These hands had to let it go free
And this love came back to me''
I KNOW PLACES
Crazy good! The lyrics can be a metaphor for many things and the melody, back vocals, the way Taylor sounds and the whole thing just fit together perfectly! Uf! One of the best Taylor's songs!
CLEAN
Healing song for sure.
I'm so happy for the deluxe edition! It has 3 extra songs + 3 voice memos (+ 13 Polaroids). I'm glad Taylor decided to share this three songs because two of them are great in my opinion!
WONDERLAND
It didn't stood out for me when I heard it for the first time but now I'm kind of obsessed! Love the Alice in Wonderland metaphors and the music! That drive and the beat! Perfect madness!
''Haven't you heard what becomes of curious minds''
''Didn't you call my fears with the cheshire cat's smile
Didn't it all seem new and exciting
I felt your arms twisting around me
It's all fun and games 'til somebody loses their mind''
YOU ARE IN LOVE
Nice but I bet it will sound even better when it happens to Taylor ;)
''You can hear it in the silence, silence
You can feel it on the way home, way home
You can see it with the lights out, lights out
You're in love, true love''
NEW ROMANTICS
Love it, love it, love it! Fun song with cool lyrics! The song has many great lines but the one I adore most is
''It's poker, he can't see in my face
But I'm about to play my ace'' (aaaaahhh)
Because of that ahhh Taylor makes at the end of the word ace, this line is so freakin' amazing!
Plus some others that I adore:
''We show off our different scarlet letters- Trust me, mine is better.''
''The rumours, are terrible and cruel
Buy honey most of them are true...''
Voice memos are also nice to hear!
My favorite songs from the album: Blank Space, Wonderland, New Romantics, I Know Places, Wildest Dreams, Style, Shake It Off, Bad blood, Welcome to New York
Congrats again on such an amazing album Taylor! And thank you for sharing!
Photos from Taylor's Instagram (except 4th and 5th).

Essence Good Girl Bad Girl
Hi guys! Today is time for beauty post.
I wanted to share my Essence Good Girl Bad Girl trend edition purchase.
The only colour I was interested in nail polishes from collection was purple 05 It Wasn't me. It's actually much darker shade as it looks but it's kind of cool Autumn look. It has a heavy texture and glitter effect.
I also choose lipstic at the same name. Love the plum color!
Then both lovely effect top coats, 01 Hello Sweetheart and 02 Once I was an Angel. They are so pretty! I love them because they are easy to apply and perfect solution if you don't have time for actual colorful manicure. Base coat and feather effect on top and you're ready to go. Effortless but nice!
Hello Sweetheart effect top coat.
And silver one, Once I was an Angel effect top coat. This one will be perfect for Winter!
What are your favorite products from this collection?

Last week's favorite looks (November 03 - 09)
I'm thrilled to present my last week's favorite looks (November 03 - 09).
First two dresses are from the Harper’s Bazaar Women Of The Year Awards held in London, England. Serbian designer Roksanda Ilincic looked awesome in this electric number. The dress reminds me of beautiful abstract paintings that I adore.
I feel in love in this Valentino dress the moment I saw it on November's Elle Australia cover with Miranda Kerr so I expect to see it on the red carpet soon. Suki Waterhouse opted for this form fitting shape of the bodice with a voluminous skirt and a graceful silhouette. Simply gorgeous. I only wish she had swept her hair back on this occasion.
Eva Green was announced as the face of the 2015 Campari Calendar at a photocall in London. She looked good in an Andrew Gn dress in the brand’s signature red hue, with a touch of Eva’s personality infused into the look via the black baroque embroidery. Keeping the black and red theme going, she styled her look with a sexy pair of Louboutin strappy sandals, a red lip and raven wavy tresses.
Quick intermezzo. Here are my favorite four pictures from 2015 Campari Calendar. First two are especially divine!
Back to event looks. Jessica Alba attended the 2014 Baby2Baby Gala in Culver City, California. She looked heavenly in an Andrew Gn gown featuring a gold leaf bodice and a tulle skirt. She completed her look with gold accessories including Tiffany & Co jewels and a Brian Atwood clutch. Perfection!
Emily Blunt, Jennifer Aniston and Laura Dern all looked classy on day one of Variety Studio: Actors On Actors presented by Samsung Galaxy in Los Angeles. Emily wore a Jonathan Simkhai top, Cushnie et Ochs pants, Kurt Geiger shoes, a Chimento necklace and earrings and rings by Shylee Rose.
Hailee Steinfeld rocks a plunging neckline while attending the Topshop Topman flagship opening dinner in New York City.
Camila Alves at the Annie For Target launch event in New York City. She looked absolutely radiant wearing a Camilla and Marc strapless jumpsuit. Camila styled her look with all-black accessories including Louboutin sandals and a python clutch, with blown-out tresses providing the finishing touch.
And the only street style. Yes is Jessica Alba again. I just can't help it, she rocks! Love this tartan shirt with big yellow bag with a sign. So cool!

Happy Birthday - Leonardo DiCaprio (40)
Happy 40th Birthday to one of the best actors and one of my favorite Leonardo DiCaprio!
ACTING
Some people like to say his great acting begin after huge success of Titanic in 1997 but I always say he acted amazingly even before that (he just wasn't recognized yet). For example his work in This Boy's Life (1993), What's Eating Gilbert Grape (1993), The Basketball Diaries (1995) and Romeo + Juliet (1996) was tremendous. But I do agree the best roles for Leo happened after 2000.
I wanted to do Best 10 films by Leo but the list was full right away. He has so many stunning movies! If Leo is in the movie, you know it's worth watching. And I'm not even exaggerating. Catch Me If You Can (2002), The Aviator (2004), The Departed and Blood Diamond in 2006, Body of Lies and Revolutionary Road in 2008, breathtaking Shutter Island and Inception in 2010, biography J. Edgar (2011), Django Unchained (2012) and last year's The Great Gatsby and The Wolf of Wall Street. I would recommend you to see them all.
He's currently filming adventure drama The Revenant.
Leo has been nominated for various awards, including 4 Oscars: in a supporting role for What's Eating Gilbert Grape and in a leading role for the films The Aviator, Blood Diamond and The Wolf of Wall Street. He's been also nominated for 10 Golden Globes, of which he won two (for the The Aviator and The Wolf of Wall Street).
ACTIVISM
I'm sure you know Leo is also a committed environmentalist. Just last month his foundation, the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation, have provided $2 million in grant to Oceans 5, an international funders’ collaborative dedicated to stopping overfishing and establishing marine reserves in the world’s five oceans. He also made a passionate speech at the United Nations Climate Summit in September: click.
PERSONAL
Since May 2013, he's been dating German model Toni Garrn.
I really hope he will continue in doing such an amazing job as an actor and as a human being! All the best in the future Leo! Keep on wonderful work!

A visual vampire treat with an average story!
PLOT
Rather than focus on Irish novelist Bram Stoker's 1897 novel Dracula, the film creates an origin story for its title character, Count Dracula, by re-imagining the story of Vlad the Impaler.
REVIEW
If you're not taking in consideration the historical facts which basically don't exist, apart from the resemblance of some names, this is a mediocre film but far better than Twilight nonsense. Plot is decent but with many holes, there is a lack of a solid characters and connection. Neverthelss it's still a nice combination of slow sequences and action with gorgeous visuals and costumes. Luke's performance was very good and I can say the same for Sarah and Charles. Watchable supernatural popcorn tale! 3/5

VS Fantasy Bras 2014
Victoria’s Secret is making some big changes to its annual fashion show this year.
Not only is the lingerie giant moving the venue from New York to London for the first time, but the show will actually be shot in December and instead of the standard red carpet, there will be a pink carpet and two multimillion-dollar Fantasy Bras will hit the catwalk during the show.
Victoria's Secret unveiled two Fantasy bras this week and the lucky ladies who will be wearing them are Brazilian bombshells, Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio. This will be the 3rd time Adriana gets the honor to wore the Fantasy bra (she wore it at 2008 and 2010 VSFS), while this is the 2nd time for Alessandra (she wore Floral Fantasy Bra in 2012). This will be both models’ 14th VS fashion show!
The Dream Angels Fantasy Bras were designed by Mouawad and are valued at $2 million each. Both bras have been set in 18-karat gold and boast diamonds, rubies and various shades of blue sapphires. Both pieces contain 16,000 perfect gems but these are more than just bras. The lingerie sets features handcrafted arm bands, shoulder coverings and a glittering, makeshift garter belt. And if you're wondering how long it took to create these works of art? Over 1,380 hours!
Brazilian beauties Adriana and Alessandra in The Dream Angels Fantasy Bras.
And the video.
Models
Almost 50 models have so far been confirmed so it's going to be huge! Models confirmed to walk so far include current Angels Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Lily Aldridge, Candice Swanepoel, Lindsay Ellingson, Karlie Kloss, Doutzen Kroes and Behati Prinsloo. Than models: Maud Welzen, Shanina Shaik, Elsa Hosk, Lais Ribeiro, Sara Sampaio, Barbara Fialho, Josephine Skriver, Devon Windsor, Jac Jagaciak, Bregje Heinen, Eniko Mihalik, Maria Borges and Kelly Gale as well as several newcomers including Blanca Padilla, Romee Strijd, Imaan Hammam, Grace Mahary and Daniela Braga.
Musical performances
The show, a mix of fashion, fantasy and entertainment, will also include musical performances, yet those entertainers have not been revealed yet.
What we do know is there will be six themes for the show: Gilded Angels, Exotic Traveler, Dream Girl, Fairy Tale, University of Pink and Angel Ball.
Further details of this year’s show are yet to be revealed closer to event. The 19th annual show will air on December 9th.

Happy Birthday - Gordon Ramsay (48)
Happy 48th Birthday to one of the best celebrity chefs, Gordon Ramsay!
Last year I wrote some basic info about Gordon (click) so in order not to repeating myself I'm only going to write some latest news.
In September Gordon opened the Bread Street Kitchen & Bar in Lan Kwai Fong, Hong Kong. You can learn more about his restaurants here.
This year the TV series Kitchen Nightmares was cancelled but right now we can enjoy the 13 season of Hell's Kitchen. MasterChef season 5 just ended, while the 2nd season of MasterChef Junior premiered this week.
I think he's a great guy, I admire his dedication, how much he helps others, inspires me and loves his family! I wish him all the best in the future, especially lots of love, health, delicious food and to new amazing adventures! Cheers!

PLOT
The storyline picks up ten years after we saw Ceasar (Andy Serkis) and his fellow simian escapees seek refuge in the Muir woods near San Francisco. Caesar now leads and governs a new generation of apes, while the remaining humans (because the simian flu caused many deaths) live in a guarded tower within the ruined San Francisco city. The humans need to find a new energy source so they send small expedition into the forest where they encounter apes. An accident happens and the peace between mankind and apes is threatened.
REVIEW
If you want to see a great science fiction film, this is it! The movie executes a perfect balance of action sequences, special effects with believable characters, strong storytelling, plus it gives you a lot to think and care about. Once again we witness the outstanding motion-capture performances by Andy Serkis, Toby Kebbell and others. There is nothing new to be honest but the execution is undeniably great. An enjoyable sci-fi, even better than the first one (review here) and one of this year's must see! 4+/5
