Oscars 2018 Red carpet

Oscars should be the best of the best in a long award season also when it comes to red carpet and cherry on top right? Well... I didn't feel that was the case. I was a bit disappointed and when I was thinking about best dresses the list was quite short. So I decided to give space ladies who were nominated and looks that got my attention (in a good way).

Allison Janney was a beauty in red custom Reem Acra gown with a Roger Vivier clutch.

Mary J. Blige wore a white Atelier Versace embellished gown.

Meryl Streep also opted for red. She looked in a long award season in Dior Couture.

Sally Hawkins in a glittering long-sleeved Armani Prive gown with Chopard jewels.

Frances McDormand wore a gold, long-sleeved dress.

Saoirse Ronan in a pink Calvin Klein by Appointment strapless gown with oversized bow and long train. She styled the dress with matching Christian Loubout pumps along with a Jimmy Choo clutch and Cartier jewels.

One of the biggest trends of the evening were white gowns. One of my favorite was Margot Robbie in a custom off-the-shoulder Chanel Couture dress with the embellished lace floral detail. The styling was on-point too: Chanel Fine Jewelry and high-shine clutch.

Lesley Manville wore an Anna Valentine dress, Charlotte Olympia shoes, AS29 earrings, a Harry Kotlar ring and a Djula ring while carrying a Valextra bag.

Laurie Metcalf opted for a custom long sleeve Christian Siriano gown.

Octavia Spencer wore a custom Brandon Maxwell gown with coordinating emerald jewels. She looked great!

Betty Gabriel, Gal Gadot and Jennifer Garner were my favorites.
Betty Gabriel in a beautiful Tony Ward Couture gown with the whimsical embellishment.

Gal Gadot in a dazzling Givenchy Haute Couture gown with a stunning and dramatic necklace. Her updo and red lip are also perfect.

Jennifer Garner wore a dramatic Atelier Versace gown in a beautiful color with spectacular jewels and hair and make up. Love it!

Laura Dern graced the red carpet in a Calvin Klein by Appointment gown. She looks so graceful!

Nicole Kidman in a royal-blue Armani Privé. Wow! Great dramatic look with lovely styling: Christian Louboutin pumps, Harry Winston diamond earrings, sleek locks and dark ruby-red lip.

Greta Gerwig worea a bright custom Rodarte gown while a unique diamond and sapphire necklace. Staying also modern and chic.

Jennifer Lawrence in a glam Christian Dior sequin gown. I wasn't quite sure about this look at first but she looked good.

Who else is blowen away by Jane Fonda and Helen Mirren? I mean... come on! They look spectacular! Jane in a custom Balmain gown with Ferragamo shoes and Chopard jewels.
Helen Mirren in a simple custom Reem Acra gown with Harry Winston jewels.

Paz Vega wore a striking Christopher Bu gown with Chopard jewelry. Quite unique and I ike it!

Leslie Bibb attended the show with partner and nominee Sam Rockwell. She wore a black J.Mendel gown with classic diamond drop earrings. Simple and beautiful.

Lupita Nyong'o wore an Atelier Versace dress, Alexandre Birman shoes, and Niwaka jewelry while carrying a Versace clutch.

Sandra Bullock looked great in a custom Louis Vuitton gown which dazzled from every angle.

Zoey Deutch channeled the glamour in a romantic Elie Saab gown.

Who were your favorites?

Emmy Awards 2017 winners, recap and best dressed

I am one of those people who believes that for a few years now best projects are happening on TV. There are so many great tv shows and interesting characters. Much more than on big screen. Everything is better on TV :) No need to say I was once again excited for Emmys this year.

THE SHOW
The 69th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards was held on Sunday, September 17, 2017 in Downtown Los Angeles, California. The show was hosted by Stephen Colbert. The show itself was predictably quite political. If you haven't seen it here are some gifs.

Favorite speech: Alec Baldwin with the last few words!

WINNERS here. I was the most happy for Big Little lies and The Handmaid's Tale.

RED CARPET
Sad to say we've seen so many people but nothing really stood out for me. Nicole Kidman looked very good in Calvin Klein by Appointment. Love her crystal-embellished pink satin sandals and red silk gown with a full ankle-length skirt, pleated bodice, and glittering silver tie at the neck. Zoë Kravitz and Shailene Woodley also nice.

I don't usually get too excited for black gowns (they are a bit boring) but this ladies really looked amazing. Emmy Rossum in wore Zac Posen gown with emerald Lorraine Schwartz jewel, pregnant Louise Roe in an ADEAM ensemble, Annie Parisse in sleeveless gown and Michelle Pfeiffer in Oscar de la Renta dress.

A lot of ladies looked solid but mediocre at the same time. I feel this year Emmys were a bit nahh overall.

Best dressed Cannes 2017 (May 25 - 28th)

Cannes film festival 2017 has ended and I'm so happy Diane Kruger won Best Actress in a movie In the Fade! Yeeey! She also gave us some nice outfits. Take a look at the last part of best dressed (May 25 - 28th).

DAY 9 (amfAR event)
Hannah Ferguson in a red strapless dress. Bianca Balti in a Dolce & Gabbana black styled with waves, beautiful jewels and Gianvito Rossi shoes. Doutzen Kroes lovely in a red BOSS gown.

Camila Morrone in a Ralph & Russo Couture gown, Izabel Goulart in a custom Zuhair Murad gown and Helena Gatsby.

Jessica Chastain in a Prada black dress with a backward necklace, Mina Cvetkovic and Jasmine Tookes in a black Zuhair Murad gown with the Bulgari necklace.

DAY 10
Diane Kruger looked good in black for her movie In The Fade. At the photocall she wore a BOSS dress featuring a cut-out and amazing Self-Portrait x Robert Clergerie Leyla sandals. At the premiere she opted for Jason Wu. I miss a bit more playful and interesting choices from her side but she is still looking great.

Fan Bingbing in a Christopher Bu stunning drapey gown and Praya Lundberg in a beautiful Rami Kadi Couture dress. Standouts for sure.

Juliette Binoche wore black and white DAN Couture gown, Izabel Goulart in a Zuhair Murad Couture gown and Natasha Poly in a BOSS custom dress.

DAY 11
Eva Green was a highlight on day eleven. At the photocall of her new movie Based On A True Story she wore Stella McCartney’s jumpsuit with red lip and onyx jewels. At the premiere in a dramatic Alexander McQueen gown.

DAY 12
Diane Kruger also in black at the closing ceremony. She opted for a floor-length, custom Jonathan Simkhai gown with Chopard jewels. And like I mentioned. She won! Happy!

Fan Bingbing in a best look so far. She opted for a breath-taking Atelier Versace.

Jessica Chastain solid in a elegant Zuhair Murad custom long backless white crepe evening gown adorned with red crystal beads.

In case you didn't see previous posts: clik, click, click. Overall, my favorite ladies this year were Sara Sampaio and Nicole Kidman. Yours?

Best dressed Cannes 2017 (May 22nd - 24th)

Cannes 2017 is getting better and better! Here my favorite looks from May 22nd till yesterday, 24th.

DAY 6 (May 22nd)
Nicole Kidman looked beautiful in Calvin Klein. The black bustier and white tulle skirt are gorgeous. She styled the look with Calvin Klein black high heeled deco pumps and Harry Winston Diamonds.

Nicole also looked nice at the photocall wearing Dior Couture. Btw. This year I'm quite unimpressed by photocall looks in general.
At the Trophée Chopard Ceremony Anya Taylor-Joy and Marion Cotillard were my top picks. Anya opted for Miu Miu gown and Marion in a Halpern masterwork styled with a diamond collar necklace.

Sara Sampaio was a bit too revealing this time. But I still kind of like it. She wore a Francesco Scognamiglio’s Couture design with sheer lace and ruffles.

Sonam Kapoor in another fantastic Elie Saab gown. This year she's making predictable chooices but there are still good.

Izabel Goulart looking hot as always in a white Ralph & Russo Couture embellished gown along with its streamlined silhouette that glided over her statuesque figure.

DAY 7 (May 23rd)
Marion Cotillard beautiful once again in a midnight blue Armani Privé gown and Chopard jewels.

Eva Longoria solid in a Pamella Roland dress with high neckline. She looked a bit short in the dress but I still like it.

Frederique Bel in a black and white gown and Naomi Campbell in a Atelier Versace with amazing feather hemline and Swarovski beading.

Sara Sampaio in her last Cannes look. She was once again fantastic in a Elie Saab. So simple yet perfect.

DAY 8 (may 24th)
Izabel Goulart showing off her amazing body again. This time in a bohemian Roberto Cavalli Couture gown styled with Chopard jewels.

Doutzen Kroes in a wonderful silver Balmain creation.

All three Beguiled movie stars looked great yesterday evening. Kirsten Dunst was magical in a fairytale blue Schiaparelli Couture gown. Nicole Kidman in a fringe Michael Kors gown styled with a deep rouge lip, Gianvito Rossi sandals and Harry Winston jewels. Elle Fanning in a youthful lavender tulle Rodarte dress.

I actually liked Jade Foret's sheer lace pink outfit.

First time in Cannes, Jasmine Tookes, looked fresh and lovely in a lavender Georges Chakra Spring gown. She stlyed the dress with Jimmy Choo heels and Boucheron jewels. Her second look was at the Gala 20th Birthday Of L'Oreal. I was so disappointed in what most model wore. The only three solid were Jasmine, Bianca Oliveira and Cindy Bruna.

Ready for more!

Best dressed Cannes 2017 (May 18th - 21st)

Here are best dressed at Cannes Film Festival from day 2 (18th May) till day 5 (21st May). This post will reveal two things and you can guess what ok?

DAY 2 (May 18th)
Priscilla Betti in a floral dress and Winnie Harlow in a electric blue Zuhair Murad Spring Couture gown. The look was completed by Chopard jewels and René Caovilla sandals.

DAY 3 (May 19th)
Aishwarya Rai looked spectacular in a Michael Cinco Couture dress. One of the best Cannes outfits ever. Like. A. Queen.

Sara Sampaio and Petra Nemcova were my favorite at Chopard SPACE Party where dress code was galactic with a touch of diamonds. They both wore Elie Saab gowns that I adore. Sara was breathtaking in this goth look with dark lips. Petra opted for colourful sequins asymmetric gown and red lips.

DAY 4 (May 20th)
Ming Xi in turquoise Alberta Ferretti dress. I don't love it but it was among best that day.

Sara was amazing once again. She opted for a sparklin Armani Prive one-piece with big high ruffled neckline that adds a bit of drama. She wears it beautifully.

DAY 5 (May 21st)
Elisabeth Moss in a Oscar de la Renta Bridal gown styled with leather jacket, platform heels and Chopard jewels. I love style like this.

More Sara. At the Fashion for Relief gala and runway show she wore geometric Balmain gown paired with Messika jewels and Giuseppe Zanotti sandals.

Ming Xi also looking nice in a black dress with a slit.

Oh look, more Elie Saab gowns (aren't they gorgeous!). Sonam Kapoor in a lovely pink embellishment and Olga Kurylenko in a cap-sleeve dress with artistry of the shimmering beadwork and floral embellishment.

I'm sure you guessed two things: I love Elie Saab and I love Sara Sampaio (this is here year in Cannes I'm telling you)! What are your favorite looks so far?

Best dressed Cannes 2017: Day 01

After a short break I'm back! Once again I'm super excited for this year's Cannes Film Festival!
I will publish my favorite fashion looks every other day and here are already my picks from day one (May 17).

Sara Sampaio was so beautiful in a dramatic Zuhair Murad Couture gown with plunging neckline. She styled the look with diamond jewels and a loose braid. Love it!

Elle Fanning in a Vivienne Westwood Couture hand-painted print gown. Tiffany jewels and Louboutin shoes completed the look.

Fan Bingbing opted for an elegant ice blue Elie Saab. Simply gorgeous.

Naomie Harris in a playful Gucci chiffon gown. Not glamorous this time but I still like it.

Uma Thurman wore an Atelier Versace gown. I like the structure and the sophistication.

Daria Strokouz in a lovely illustrated Dior gown. There is a room for improvement but I like the print too much.

Can't wait for more! <3

Last week's favorite looks (March 20 - April 02)

Second part of March + first April weekend looks didn't offer much but here are my picks.

Kellie Pickler and Carrie Underwood were my favorite at the 2017 Academy Of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas, Nevada. Kellie in a off-shoulder black Halo EVE by Laurel Berman dress and Carrie in a nude LaBourjoisie gown with the sharp sliver embellishments and high collar. She styled the look with a Harry Kotlar diamond drop earrings, a Hearts on Fire diamond band and Djula diamond rings.

Annabelle Wallis in the CinemaCon in Las Vegas, Nevada. I adore this colorful Mary Katrantzou frock with her red Stuart Weitzman sandals.

Chrissy Teigen in a cool casual look in West Hollywood. She wore a blue ripped skinny jeans, a white Frame top, heels and a hat. Simple and lovely.

Last week's favorite looks (March 01 - 19)

Here are my favorite looks in the first half of the month of March 2017.

My favourite two at the Christian Dior show held during Paris Fashion Week in Paris, France were Karlie Kloss and Eva Herzigova. Love!

Nicole Kidman joined Jane Fonda on the red carpet for Goldene Kamera 2017 in Hamburg, Germany. She looked lovely in a Giambattista Valli floral gown with delicate ruffled sleeves.

Eva Mendes gorgeous in a one-shoulder green dress from the Eva Mendes Collection while attending the grand opening of the New York & Company store in Miami, Florida.

Cara Delevingne looking edgy and cool in a Joe’s tee and jeans arriving at Royal Monceau Raffles hotel in Paris, France.

Michelle Dockery joined her castmates at the New York screening of her upcoming film The Sense of an Ending. She opted for minimal monochrome David Koma jumpsuit and Christian Louboutin pumps with deep-parted curls and a red lip.

Heidi Klum attended 2017 iHeartRadio Music Awards. She opted for a Redemption mini and was my fav from the show.

Demi Lovato is promoting film Smurfs: The Lost Village. She looked beautiful in a white fit and flare silhouette of her Jill Jill Stuart dress stlyed with Edie Parker ‘Smurfette’ clutch and Giuseppe Zanotti  white sandals.

Obviously there is a lot of florals and black and white which I adore.

Last week's favorite looks (February 11 - 28)

Award season 2017 has (finally) come to an end. You already seen best looks from Golden Globes, SAG Awards, BAFTAs, Grammys, Oscars and The Vanity Fair Oscar Party, but here are also some of my other favorite looks I notice last month.

At the NAACP Image Awards in Pasadena, California these three ladies were outstanding. Mandy Moore in a sleek sophisticated Solace London gown, Erica Ash in a gorgeous mint dress and Kerry Washington in a Prabal Gurung gown.

My favorite two from 2017 Film Independent Spirit Awards were Janelle Monáe and Naomie Harris. Janelle in black and white Salvatore Ferragamo ensemble styled with a similarly geometric Emm Kuo clutch and Christian Louboutin sandals. Clashing patterns is tricky but she does a good job. Naomie in Chanel dress. I love the colors.

Emma Stone joined a host of stars for the 10th annual Women in Film Pre-Oscar Cocktail Party in LA. She wore a shimmer Prada look with ankle strap Jimmy Choo pumps.

Nicole Scherzinger attended The Weinstein Company’s Pre-Oscar Dinner and opted for beautiful Yanina Couture gown.

One Emma ends with the promotion and other one begins. Emma Watson gave us some really nice looks already. She skipped the red carpet at the 2017 Elle Style Awards in London but was spotted in the VIP room. I am really glad because this fairytale Christian Dior dress is amazing.

At the photocall for Beauty and the Beast in London we've seen her in black 3.1 Phillip Lim look with Black Burberry pumps and Pichulik beaded point earrings completed the look.

Emma also looked great in black and white arriving at the after party of Beauty and the Beast in London.

Amy Adams arrived at the BAFTA nominees party in London in lovely Chanel dress.

Emily Ratajkowski looked so cool in pink trouser and blazer suit and white blouse in the front row of the Altuzarra fashion show held during New York Fashion Week.

Kate Walsh at the Roundabout Theatre Company’s 2017 Spring Gala to honor four-time Tony Award winner, Frank Langella. She opted for classic sexy black and red look.

Barbara Palvin while walking the red carpet at the 2017 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue Launch Event in New York City. She wore a romantic baby-blue gown with a messy half-up, half-down waves.

Brie Larson took to the red carpet in London’s Leicester Square for the premiere of Kong: Skull Island and looked great in a seductive Ralph & Russo Couture gown.

The Vanity Fair Oscar Party Best dressed

Here are best looks from the red carpet at the Elton John AIDS Foundation's Oscar Viewing Party and The Vanity Fair Oscar Party.

Jasmine Tookes was absolute stunner! At the Elton John's party she loooked amazing in a Zuhair Murad gold dress. Her second look at Vanity Fair party was also great. She opted for black one-shoulder Thai Nguyen Atelier sheer gown and styled with Stuart Weitzman sandals. Top!

Lily Collins was spectacular as well. I lovet his dramatic Elie Saab couture gown with retro waves, berry lip and Charlotte Olympia heels.

Simple but beautifiul. Jennifer Aniston in a Atelier Versace gown with deep plunging neckline and thigh-high slit. Nicola Peltz in black and white dress and Naomie Harris in another look by Calvin Klein By Appointment. She paired the white grecian inspired gown with Tamara Mellon sandals and a gold clutch.

I know it's obvious, I love Elie Saab. Elizabeth Banks wore this amazing design. She styled the look with Fernando Jorge jewelry, Sophia Webster shoes and a Jimmy Choo clutch.

It's three out of three for me. Auli'i Cravalho wowed me also in a blue Rubin Singer dress.

Demi Lovato looked princess gorgeous in a Monique Lhuillier ruffle gown. She styled it with an Edie Parker clutch and Dvani jewels.

Adriana Lima has an amazing body but often she chooses dresses that I don't like. Lately she's getting better. First we've seen her in an Elisabetta Franchi white dress, Casadei shoes and Chopard jewelry. Solid, but I like her second look more. She opted for a Labourjoisie gold gown.

Karlie Kloss served us another beautiful look. She wore a Naeem Khan red gown with embellishment and a thigh-high side slit.

Amy Adams in glamorous silver Tom Ford dress. Clean and elegant.

Kate Bosworth looked looked picture perfect in a J. Mendel pleated tulle ball gown. One of my favorites among favorites.

Ashley Tisdale wore a fitted purple gown by Narciso Rodriguez. Nice.

Katherine McPhee in a Amanda Wakeley black gown with choker necklace and Halston Heritage  clutch.

Leona Lewis opted for a Tony Ward couture dress with Atelier Swarovski Crystal clutch and Swarovski rings.

Shanina Shaik wore a green deep V emerald dress that revealed plenty. She styled the dress with emerald and diamond necklace, as well as a ring from Piaget Luxury Jewelery, a matching clutch and strappy heels from Stuart Weitzman.

Joyful dresses for the end. Ruth Negga in a sparkly Oscar de la Renta dress that featured delightful high-low hemline. I love the mix of sparkle, elegant and fun.

Freida Pinto in a gorgeous blue Elie Saab gown. The slit was tasteful and the accessories added a golden touch.

Kat Graham in a vivid Renato Balestra Couture dress. Kind of cool.

Who were your picks?
