Emmys 2015 Winners

So yesterday Emmy Awards honored the best in U.S. prime time television programming. Here are some of the winners with my comments.

Andy Samberg hosted the show for the first time. He did ok but I can easily name host that did it much better, e.g. Jimmy Kimmel, Neil Patrick Harris and Ellen. Other than that, like always, the show was fast paced. I miss more and more things about the show. The clips from tv shows, some kind of tribute to old tv shows and I really believe tv series that are not nominated should be also included! We can all agree that we love tv series for different reasons and some are not even close to be critically acclaimed but so what? We love them! And some are really good despite that are not nominated... I think Emmys lost a lot of heart and soul.

This year my heart was not beating faster in many categories but I was so happy for Richard Jenkins! I'm his fan for a while but I feel his work is overlooked many times. So this was a big surprise! Yeeeey! And we can agree that Viola Davis had the most powerful beautiful speech: click.
And I totally missed Houdini mini series! Aaaa! Need to watch it!
On the down-side. I was a bit sad for Modern Family and Ty Burrell. Hope the good luck will be beack next year! And I love Jon Stewart but I would be even more happy for Jimmy Kimmel...
I know many people were very pleased that Jon Hamm and Game of Thrones finally won. As a big Breaking Bad fan I will say - that's what happens when the best tv show is not on TV anymore. Otherwise both would be empty handed again :P With all jokes aside, I think they deserve it and CONGRATS to all the winners!

Wildest Dreams

Taylor Swift still rocks in my book! She really have a great collaboration with amazing people who make this beautiful videos together. Her new Wildes Dreams video is just beautiful and so gorgeous to watch. And you already know that the song is one of my fav from the album 1989.

But! I will confess that I wasn't that thrilled about music video for Bad Blood ft. Kendrick Lamar. It had amazing promotion and warm up and all this celebrity girls but something didn't click for me. Or it was just too much of them... I felt like she wanted to show who and how many there are in the video instead of make more story to it. On the other hand, once again: the scenes, visuals, make up and the hair - perfect!

And have you seen Taylor perform Smelly Cat with Lisa Kudrow? How cool was that! :)

New amazing character is made! His name is Baymax.

PLOT
The film tells the story of a young robotics prodigy named Hiro Hamada in the futuristic fictional city of San Fransoky. After family tragedy, he forms a superhero team to combat a masked villain.

REVIEW
Disney film based on Marvel. Maybe it sounds like a weird combo but it's simply great! First, it's a good, original storytelling and a great animation. Secondly, the film is clever, sweet, funny, action-packed, touching and entertaining! I loved the little details, heart of the film and of course, Baymax! A must see! 5-/5

Summer of 2015, part I - Lugano, Switzerland

Summer will soon be over. In a way it already is over but I'm not sure how I feel about it. Something about Autumn is so magical and it's my favorite season but on the other hand, I really don't like short days. And the cold. Jajks! But I'm looking forward to new challenges and goals...

I want to share with you some of my photos from our summer vacation. No need to say we had an amazing time. It was our first vacation since a year and a half (YEAR AND A HALF!!) so we were enjoying every minute of it! We started our trip in Ljubljana, our first destination was Campione d'Italia, lake Lugano, Switzerland.

When we came to our apartment it was lovely sunny and the view of lake Lugano was beautiful. We explored the area and had our first cocktails in Switzerland.

One day we spent in Andermatt. My love really want me to see this beautiful place and Gotthard Pass, a mountain pass in the Alps but the weather was just not cooperating with us. On the other side the fog scattered and the view was amazing. The road was also amazing, Andermatt is breathtaking and I finally ate my first Swiss Rösti! Yum!

You know I love supercars so this vacation I really had something to see. In two weeks I've seen so many expensive luxury cars that I can't believe it! But not only seeing them outside the salons, on the streets (yet it's easier to snap a picture when they're not moving:)). Ferrari, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Rolls-Royce, etc. and of course, my favorite - Lamborghini. OMG, they exist (not only in pictures and on Top Gear:P)!

Back to the nature. We also walked to Devil's Bridge. Stunning! How people made this? And all the tunnels and majestic mountains. The air... Aaaaaaaaaaa! Scary and awesome and speechless at the same time.

Was the weather going back any better you ask? Not much better but I've seen at least something now :)

One of the things I love to observe while travelling are also traffic signs. Funny/interesting/different ones of course! :)

Evenings were a lot of fun too ;)

One of the things I learned about this trip is that taking pictures is nice and everything, they evoke memories when you watch them, but the real beauty is in the moment, in the air, on the streets and these moments really can't be captured. And the view is so much more than it's shown on one picture.

Note to myself: Enjoy in the moment even more and take less pictures!
