Last week's favorite looks (July 15 - 21)

Tuesday and my last week's favorite looks (July 15 - 21). This time I mix it up a bit (casual + event outfits).

Vanessa Hudgens gave us some memorable outfits while promoting her film The Frozen Ground. 24-year-old actress wore Catherine Malandrino top and Houghton pants when she arrived at the BBC Radio One in London, England.

Next look, Moschino suit.

Again in white knit Catherine Malandrino ensemble, this time at 2013 Ischia Global Fest Gala Dinner in Ischia, Italy.

Plus in casual lovely two dresses, black printed dress with black sunglasses and in long black maxi with red lips.

Birthday girl (click), Gisele Bundchen showed us her flower power while out shopping in Los Angeles.

Cara Delevingne at Cirque du Soir in London, England.

Bar Rafaeli in a summery floral dress in Ibiza, Spain.

Newly single Stacy Keibler in a black and white printed blouse, dark skinnies and Chelsea Paris sandals while attending a food tasting event to promote her new series Supermarket Superstar in Los Angeles.

Olivia Munn attended the L'Oreal USA Women in Digital NEXT Generation Awards ceremony at Three Sixty Degrees in New York City. She wore white knee-length sleeveless Thakoon Addition Resort 2014 light-blue dresss with a cut-out waist.

P.S. Many stunning outfits were seen at Comic Con 2013 but they are not included here because I'll prepare special post about Comic Con fashion. Also, I hope you didn't miss red carpet at 2013 ESPY Awards - click here if you did.

Movie review - Oblivion (2013)

Oblivion (2013) / sci-fi, action

Directed by Joseph Kosinski
Screenplay by Joseph Kosinski Karl Gajdusek Michael Arndt
Based on Oblivion by Joseph Kosinski Arvid Nelson
Starring: Tom Cruise, Olga Kurylenko, Andrea Riseborough, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Melissa Leo, Morgan Freeman
Trailer: click.

PLOT
Jack Harper (Tom Cruise) is one of the last drone repairmen stationed on Earth after a war with the alien race (called the Scavengers or the "Scavs") which left our planet in ruins and mankind on the run to one of the Saturn's moons, Titan. The Titan colony is powered by the energy harvested on Earth by power stations that generate fuzion power from seawater and the drones are there to protect them from attacks. Despite the alien race having lost the war, they want to make ensure the human race does not survive, trying to destroy all power plants on Earth. Will Jack and his partner Victoria "Vic" Olsen (Andrea Riseborough) be able to fight off the attacks and survive the last two weeks on Earth before settling on Titan or will the Scavs make a one last attempt to once and for all get rid of humans?

REVIEW
Firstly: don't expect tense non-stop action because movie is not about that. In film's foreground is a human story and stunning sci-fi fantasy world. Cinematography is really stunning, plot is solid, plus you'll see some good acting (Cruise, Leo, Freeman), although cast is not big. I also liked storyline that was a bit different. But on the other hand there are some cliches and cheesy moments. The main thing I didn't like is it's pace. Film starts a bit slow, gets your attention but than you again desire something more. 3+/5

Take me to the sea!

One of my favorite beauty bloger Taya write about a beautiful blue nail polish by H&M a while back and now, I finally try it.

I decided to do a sea inspired manicure with early mentioned blue and white (Joy) combo. I was impressed as well by H&M blue shade nail polish. Gorgeous!

Happy Birthday - Gisele Bündchen (33)

Supermodel Gisele Bündchen is celebrating her 33rd birthday today!

I guess this Brazilian fashion model doesn't need a special introduction. She became the first in a wave of Brazilian models to find international success, worked for best brands in industry, appeared in covers of top fashion magazines, done various campaigns, has been a Victoria's secret Angel and since 2004 she  is the highest-paid model in the world.

Privately. After a 5 year relationship with actor Leonardo DiCaprio she started dating a New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady in December 2006. They got married in 2009 and have two children together: a son Benjamin (3 and a half years) and a daughter Vivian (half a year old). Tom also has a son John (aged 6) from a previous relationship.

Last month she promoted her new lingerie line Gisele Bundchen Intimates in Brasil.

You may also know that in 2001 Gisele launched the Ipanema Gisele Bündchen, her own line of flip-flop sandals in association with the official Ipanema brand of flip-flops.

You may also find interesting that...
- she has five sisters;
- as the year 2000 approached, Gisele was the world's hottest model, opening up a new category in the popular imagination: the Brazilian bombshell;
- she is the fourth model in history to grace the cover of the Rolling Stone magazine;
- she had supporting roles in Taxi (2004) and The Devil Wears Prada (2006);
- in 2012 The Hollywood Reporter stated that Gisele became C&A's biggest booster in Brazil and even helped with European sales;
- she is a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and active in charitable activities;
- she was ranked #5 on the most successful Brazilian Business Women list and number 16 on the Forbes most successful female entrepreneurs list.

Happy Birthday Gisele, best of luck with new challenges and projects!

Also celebrating today: Julianne Hough (25), Judy Greer (38) and Josh Holloway (44)
