Spectacular action goes on!

Fast 8 continues to bring what they do best: over the top action with a pinch of comedy and a whole lot of entertainment! Love the franchise and the cast chemistry, amazing locations, action scenes and of course, cars. New villain played by Charlize is great and I'm positively surprised that they still manage to pull off a flick like this. Most things are predictable yes but that doesn't mean they are not worth seeeing. A must see! 4/5

Last week's favorite looks (March 20 - April 02)

Second part of March + first April weekend looks didn't offer much but here are my picks.

Kellie Pickler and Carrie Underwood were my favorite at the 2017 Academy Of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas, Nevada. Kellie in a off-shoulder black Halo EVE by Laurel Berman dress and Carrie in a nude LaBourjoisie gown with the sharp sliver embellishments and high collar. She styled the look with a Harry Kotlar diamond drop earrings, a Hearts on Fire diamond band and Djula diamond rings.

Annabelle Wallis in the CinemaCon in Las Vegas, Nevada. I adore this colorful Mary Katrantzou frock with her red Stuart Weitzman sandals.

Chrissy Teigen in a cool casual look in West Hollywood. She wore a blue ripped skinny jeans, a white Frame top, heels and a hat. Simple and lovely.

Movie review - Deepwater Horizon (2016)

Deepwater Horizon (2016) / drama, thriller

Directed by Peter Berg
Produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Mark Vahradian, Mark Wahlberg, Stephen Levinson, David Womark
Screenplay by Matthew Michael, Carnahan, Matthew Sand
Story by Matthew Sand
Based on Deepwater Horizon's Final Hours by David Barstow, David Rohde, Stephanie Saul
Starring: Mark Wahlberg, Kurt Russell, John Malkovich, Gina Rodriguez, Dylan O'Brien, Kate Hudson
Trailer: click.

Solid action thriller.

I'm positively surprised about this film. It's not just a film where a disaster happenes but it keeps on happening and you are invested in it and angry at the greedy people. I was surprised about the details in the film when it comes to technical side. It's not a perfect movie and it's not artsy, profound or anything like that. It looks realist, it's gripping and interesting to watch. 3/5

Budapest trip (part I)

Last month me and my love spend a few days in Budapest, Hungary.

We arrived in the evening and the full moon was our companion most of the nights. I was in Budapest before but never as touristy. City was bigger than I imagined and this time I've seen main attractions and had fun sightseeing.

I would say Parliament was my favorite building. With amazing architecture like this I always remember how much I love(d) history and architecture but now I don't take time for it anymore.

The days were sunny and it was really nice to walk by Danube and see Shoes on the Danube Bank and just enjoy the day and see the city by foot.

Heroes' Square was especially dramatic when the sun went down.

The story continues with more photos and attractions...

Movie review - Nocturnal Animals (2016)

Nocturnal Animals (2016) / thriller, drama

Directed and Screenplay by Tom Ford

Well-acted, writen and great to look at!

Didn't read the novel but this is a really good and stylish film by Tom Ford. It mixes crime with drama beautifully, interwoven storylines and symbolism. At times it's quite disturbing, provocative and twisted. Performances of Aaron, Amy, Jake and Michael are also the reason why this film is worth seeing. The movie is tense, dark, mysterious and thrilling to watch. One of 2016 must sees. 4+/5
