A hot mess!

One of the most highly anticipated movies is here! Or should I say over-hyped? Is it as bad as many critics say? No. Is it really good? No. It's a mainstream popcorn blockbuster film that I guess a lot of people will enjoy. For me this movie was for sure better than Batman v Superman but still with big flaws.

On the positive: stylish and funny (they didn't overexagerate yet some jokes fall flat). Than there is plenty of good acting: Margot, Will and Joel were standouts for me. Don't get me wrong, Jared was also good but he didn't quite convice me. He was acting the Joker but he wasn't the Joker. You know what I mean? Music was incorporated nicely, they introduce characters well, action was mediocre.

On the negative. The biggest miss is a messy plot and simply written characters. Second part of the film wasn't as good as I hoped for and some scenes were just like: they are doing this just to look cool and get a nice shot but it doesn't come across authentic. Directing could also be better.

3+/5
