Movie review - Monsters University (2013)
Monsters University (2013) / animation, adventure, family
Directed by Dan Scanlon
Screenplay by Daniel Gerson, Robert L. Baird and Dan Scanlon
Starring: Billy Crystal, John Goodman, Steve Buscemi, Bob Peterson, John Ratzenberger, Joel Murray, Sean Hayes, Dave Foley, Helen Mirren, Alfred Molina, Nathan Fillion, Aubrey Plaza, John Krasinski, Beth Behrs
Trailer: click.
PLOT
What was the path of Mike and Sulley before they became part of most profitable and best-known scaring company Monsters Inc.? Young friendly monster named Michael Wazowski (Billy Crystal) dreamed of being a scarer when he grows up and eleven years later he is a scare major at Monsters University, where he meets his new roommate Randall Boggs (Steve Buscemi) and a blue, big, furry monster named James P. Sullivan (John Goodman). Things start to go wrong when Mike and Sully accidentally destroy a sacred item that belongs to the devilish Dean Hardscrabble (Helen Mirren). Things get worst by the minute but Mike's big dreams became to shattering when he finds out that he's not scary at all. What now?
REVIEW
Prequel to 2001's Monsters, Inc. is simply funny, enjoyable, thoughtful family movie. It's for everyone (not only kids), new characters are adorable, film is sentimental in all the right places and creativity (all small things) throughout the film are very good! On the other hand: movie feels safe, predictable and bland at some moments. I love monsters, the film is solid yet forgettable. 3+/5

Round and round it goes...
Hey everyone,
I came across this video a couple of days back and I really need to share it with you. Not sure how fond you are of climbing but I think that this idea is just brilliant. A perpetual motion machine, treadwall... Genious!

And if it gets too easy, you can always adjust the angle and make it more difficult.
Stay inspired and keep your eyes open, you never know when you'll came up with something new and great!

Last week's favorite looks (September 16 - 22)
Because of the Emmys red carpet (part I, part II and part III), only now post with my last week's favorite looks (September 16 - 22).
Kate Bosworth arrived at the Bulgari Retrospective Opening held at the M. H. De Young Memorial Museum in San Francisco. She wore Stella McCartney sleek black dress.
Miranda Kerr attended the opening night of her Romeo, husband Orlando Bloom‘s play Romeo & Juliet at the Richard Rodgers Theatre in New York City. She wore white J. Mendel dress with a graphic cut-out bodice, pleated skirt and Christian Louboutin shoes.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in sexy black Versus dress at Another Magazine Party during London fashion week.
Natalie Portman attended the New York City Ballet 2013 Fall Gala in New York City. She looked beautiful in tri-colour aqua-yellow-and-black strapless textured Christian Dior Couture gown.
Street style outfits. Jessica Alba in black outfit with a big smile as she exits Acabar in Hollywood. She was also in good spirits as she led her brood to a birthday party. This time she wore a white scoopneck top, printed trousers and a light cardigan. Vanessa Hudgens steps out in a two-toned peach colored dress while heading to an office building for a meeting in Beverly Hills and Selena Gomez while shopping around Milan, Italy.

Emmys 2013: thoughts and review
Emmy Awards 2013 through my eyes, some thoughts and quick review.
Host: Neil Patrick Harris
He was great as always.
Performances
Likable, not too frequent or too many of them. But singers like Elton John and Carrie Underwood are always worth listening.
Speeches
Merritt Wever won for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series (as Zoey Barkow on Nurse Jackie) and she was honestly surprised. I think we all were. A bit weird speech but I guess she really was spechless:)
And Jim Parsons who won for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series (as Dr. Sheldon Cooper on The Big Bang Theory) was cute with: 'It's so silly to be emotional isn't it?' :)
Winners
I think there were some surprises: Jeff Daniels, Tony Hale and Merritt Wever.
Some other memorable moments...
1. I really like beginning of the show where Jimmy Kimmel, Jane Lynch, Jimmy Fallon and Conan o'Brien come to the stage and then it follows by Kevin Spacey intermezzo.
2. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler were also funny literally rolling onto the stage.
3. Dance choreography introducing tv series nominees was cool!
4. How I Met Your Mother sketch that parodied Malibu rehab centers with an intervention of Emmys host Neil Patrick Harris for Excessive Hosting Addiction (EHA) was great.
5. Special tributes were very touching.
Over all it was ok show to watch. I wouldn't say it was awesome or something like that but beside annoying music that you must wrap up your speech I don't have any complaints.
