Monday inspiration: American Ninja Warrior

Have you ever watched sports entertainment competition called American Ninja Warrior? If you want to get inspired you should.

It's a spin-off of the Japanese television series Sasuke, in which competitors try to complete a series of obstacle courses of increasing difficulty called stages. I've been a big fan of the show for a few years now and many times contestants just leave me speechless.

You see people from all walks of life: (former) athletes, IT guys, moms, dads, electricians, farmers, etc. but they have one thing in common - they train their asses off to be on the show and try to defeat the course. How they make time and where they train in everyday life is often really inspiring. And how far many contestants have come in past years. Wooow! And the last two season were super exciting because the ladies were just a-mazing! Especially Kacy Catanzaro, Jessie Graff, Michelle Warnky and Meagan Martin - respect and thank you for the inspiration!

And of course I also have my favorite guys since I have been watching the shof for quite some time. They are:
- Joe Moravsky ("The Weatherman")
- Travis Rosen ("The Tennessee Trader")
- Brent Steffensen

Isaac Caldiero and Paul Kasemir are also cool but I'm annoyed by their 'wolfpack'. In general I get so into the show and just wish everyone to do their best! And there are so many amazing ninjas: Drew Drechsel, Geoff Britten, Jamie Rahn, David Campbell, Flip Rodriguez, Lance Pekus, etc.

And Kyle Cochran who wears his insulin pump because he has type 1 diabetes. Respect. Like I said... There is so many great stories.

But you know who is my ultimate favorite? Sam Sann! What an awesome guy!

Eighth season is set to premiere next month, June 2nd! Can't wait!
