amfAR’s 20th Annual Cinema Against AIDS Red Carpet

Red Carpet at amfAR’s 20th Annual Cinema Against AIDS, held at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cap d’Antibes, France. Although the dress code was color gold, we mostly saw black, white and nude gowns.


Starting with red gowns. Jessica Chastain in one-shoulder Saint Laurent gown with a cut-out. Lily Donaldson in Emilio Pucci and another model, Jessica Hart.

Black gowns with trends like lace, cut outs and sheer fabric. Bianca Balti in Alberta Ferretti, Angela Lindvall, Isabeli Fontana and Tamara Beckwith.

Asymmetrical gown on Ana Beatriz Barros, Karolina Kurkova in Roberto Cavalli, Rosario Dawson in Vionnet and Bonnie Wright in simple Prada dress.

Black and white on Clotilde Courau, Liu Wen in Roberto Cavalli, Paz Vega in spaghetti strap Vionnet dress and Lara Lieto with Adrien Brody.

Janet Jackson in all white Armani Privé, Karlie Kloss in Louis Vuitton, Ludivine Sagnier in Roberto Cavalli and Dita von Teese in Ulyana Sergeenko Couture.

Bold brights neons. Goldie Hawn, Irina Shayk in pink Elie Saab and Goga Ashkenazi. Irina was gorgeous! Nice come back after trashy look the day before.

Izabel Goulart wore a teal embellish lace gown by Elie Saab. Hot! Louise Roe in beautiful Randa Salamoun gown, Liberty Ross in Balmain and Petra Nemcova in Elie Saab once again. I love this blue sheer gown but without long necklace.

Two white Roberto Cavalli gowns. Sharon Stone in ivory one with a train and Kylie Mingoue in one with cut-out detail.

More all white looks. Eva Herzigova in Dior, Hofit Golan in full-skirted white gown, Chanel Iman in Alexis Colby Carrington and Kristin Scott Thomas in Lanvin. Chanel looks at least 20 years older here and Hofit's one is like wedding one.

Alessandra Ambrosio in Zuhair Murad, Milla Jovovich in ruffle-detail Valentino Couture and Zhang Yuqi in pale-grey Roberto Cavalli.

Heidi Klum in Marchesa, Zhang Ziyi in zebra print dress tulle by Giambattista Valli Couture. One of my favorite was Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in strapless Christian Dior frock. Feminine, flirty, young and perfect for summer! Joan Smalls in Givenchy long-sleeve gown with a completely sheer skirt.

Selita Ebanks in princess gown, Stacy Keibler in mermaid maroon silk Zac Posen. Plus Kat Graham in Marchesa and pregnent Melanie Laurent in Dior.

Aishwarya Rai in traditional gold gown by Tarun Tahiliani, Olivia Palermo in animal printed Roberto Cavalli, Tamara Ecclestone in black and gold one-shoulder gown and Audrey Tautou in silver frosted Lanvin.

Ellie Goulding in gown by Brazilian designer Patricia Bonaldi. Paris Hilton in pink and feather (what a shocker right? :P) and Svetlana Metkina.

2013 Cannes Film Festival, Day 9

Day 9 at Cannes Film Festival 2013 was very busy. More than photocalls and premieres, focus was on amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gal. I'll examine that later on.

So, we saw photocalls and premiers for films: Nebraska, Max Rose and La Vie D’Adele.

First Photocall for La Vie d'Adele with Lea Seydoux in floral dress and Adele Exarchopoulo in black. Laura Dern at Nebraska photocall and and Kerry Bishe for movie Max Rose.

Premieres. This time Lea Seydoux is wearing black Armani and Adele Exarchopoulos in Balmain. Laura Dern in fringe gown and Kerry Bishe in Escada.

Queen of elegance, Nicole Kidman is back on red carpet! This time in Valentino Couture sleeveless gown with floral overlay. This dress was supposed to take to the red carpet at the Oscars on the back of Anne Hathaway before the last minute switch. And if she would worn it, I think it really would be to similar to what Amanda Seyfried was wearing (click).

Heidi Klum in asymmetrical Versace gown with one long sleeve covered with Swarovski crystals.

Black and white splash manicure

You know I just love black and white cloth combinations, so this time I did that kind of manicure. Splash black and white manicure if I'm more accurate.

I think it looks awesome and I love how it turned out (again:))!

2013 Cannes Film Festival, Day 8

Here it is!!! Day 8 at Cannes Film Festival 2013 and more stunning gowns!


Most stars (a lot of models) we saw at premieres All Is Lost and Only God Forgives.


I'll start with Barbara Palvin once again. This time she was just ok to for me. Black strapless gown was pretty but I'm not to sure about the make up. Orange eyeshadow and matching nail polish definitely stood out but didn't impressed. Liu Wen also in strapless gown. She wore very elegant royal blue Roberto Cavalli. Love it!

Alessandra Ambrosio wore Roberto Cavalli as well. A silver fully sequined long-sleeve gown is perfect for models. Petra Nemcova choose  Elie Saab Couture for her second red carpet look. I much more prefer this one. It's more fitted and with more class.

And another model in Roberto Cavalli. Irina Shayk choose sheer sexy black dress that it's too revealing for sure. We all know how hot Irina is, I don't mind models stress that but this time she just looked cheap.

Jessica Chastain in purple embellished Givenchy Couture gown. I love Jess, but I'm not loving the dress. It doesn't look flattering on her. Araya A. Hargate in fringe halter Salvatore Ferragamo gown. Fringed dresses can look so similar to those that latin american dancers wear but this one is far from it. Nice job Araya!

Once again in navy blue. Milla Jovovich was wearing Armani. Definitely my favorite look from her so far. I like color of the dress and how well it goes with her amazing eyes, I like make up and loose hair. My only problem with this dress is that it looks like dress weights her down if she is not holding it.

Photocall intermezzo for Only God Forgives with Kristin Scott Thomas in Giambattista Valli and Thai actress, Rhatha Phongam. I love both outfits: fresh, ready for summer and in style.

At premiere Kristin wore long-sleeve Armani Prive and was mostly seen with the cast: Liv Corfixen, Nicolas Winding Refn, Vithaya Pansringarm, Rhatha Phongam and Lene Borglum. Beautiful Rhatha also in picture right.

Asian beauties Zhang Ziyi in Chanel Couture strapless, fully embroidered with gold-and-black sequins and long train. Li Yuchun in Givenchy Couture. I don't believe there is many celebrities that could pulled that off.

Two lace long-sleeve gowns. In black Lily Donaldson and Elsa Zylberstein in white high-neck Armani gown with an open back. Astrid Berges-Frisbey in Chanel Couture.

Kat Graham looked good in orange, plus Indian model/actress Puja Gupta and actress Ameesha Patel with director Susi Ganeshan.

Last four boring dresses: Audrey Fleurot, Hofit Golan, Beatrice Rosen and Carly Steel.

Yes, I'm totally occupied with Cannes but I still owe you my Last week's favorite looks/outfits (May 13 - 19)!


Starting with two front zipper dresses. Amanda Seyfried it red Preen dress while attending the premiere of her new film Epic held in New York City. She add style with Givenchy sandals and Lorraine Schwartz jewels. I like the dress eventhough it reminds me of a fly agaric a bit (but I still like Malin's dress better).

Malin Akerman walks the blue carpet while attending the Disney Media Networks International Upfront in LA. Malin is wearing an Alexander Wang dress. Can you believe she had a baby just a month ago?

Nina Dobrev arrive to The CW Network’s New York 2013 Upfront Presentation in New York City. She is wearing a Versace dress, Cuyana studs and Rupert Sanderson heels. Simple but it works!

Kate Beckinsale is classy in black Alberta Ferretti dress while attending the premiere of the new flick Star Trek Into Darkness in Hollywood. More than dress I love colorful Jimmy Choo shoes.

Michelle Rodriguez in a black-and-white Herve Leger gown while promoting her new film Fast & Furious 6 in Seoul, South Korea.

Jessica Alba attends a book signing for her recent release The Honest Life: Living Naturally and True to You in Maryland. She is wearing Miss Wu frock. Love the colours and geometric chain-link print.

Plus Zoe Saldana twice. First outfit is by Antonio Berardi while she arrived at the Sirius Radio studios in New York City and second when she arrived at Rockefeller Plaza in New York City. Chick!

Simple dresses on Carey Mulligan in black and Emma Watson in white, while arriving to the Nice Airport before the Cannes Film Festival. Emma looked very lovely in A.L.C dress with the Tabitha Simmons Early boots.

Julianne Hough wears all black while heading into LAX Airport. I love her skeleton shoes and fedora! Also at LAX Airport with fedorat, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

Most laid back, street but cool looks. Heidi Klum while spending her time with family, Bar Refaeli while shopping in Milan and Gwen Stefani after she dropped her son at school in sporty T-shirts, ripped jeans and black boots.

2013 Cannes Film Festival, Day 7

Cannes Film Festival 2013 and Day 7 in fashion!


Most of celebrities were seen at Cleopatra and Behind the Candelabra Premieres.

I'll start of with a girl I've been waiting for! Barbara Palvin. She was rockin' tuxedo with a black chiffon blouse from Alexandre Vauthier.

Jessica Chastain finally on red carpet! She wore Versace Collection with Bulgari jewels. White long-sleeved silk gown with a train looked good on her but I'm not to sure about necklace.

Models. Erin Heatherton in Roberto Cavalli and Chopard jewels and Petra Nemcova in long-sleeve, champagne coloured, fully sequined Emilio Pucci gown. Sometimes I just don't understand how models can miss so much with their dresses.

Party intermezzo. Erin and Petra once again plus Naomie Harris and Selita Ebanks. I wish Erin and Petra would look that amazing on red carpet! Solange Knowles in pure white Stephane Rolland outfit on the right.

Joan Smalls in Emilio Pucci and strappy sandals. Cuts, ruffel front and whole design just don't work for me. Another deep V cut on Kylie Minogue in Roberto Cavalli. I'm not a big fan of Kylie's picks but this time she nailed it!

Araya A. Hargate in green Zac Posen gown featuring a satin bodice and tons of tulle skirt. I like tulle part but I wish satin part would not be longer than her hips. Aishwarya Rai keeps on bringing goodies. This time she wore Gucci gown.

Rosario Dawson improve her impression in beautiful Marchesa gown. Sparking golden gown with a fishtail skirt was amazing. She added style with Ferragamo clutch and red lips. Chiara Ferragni in short dress and Adrien Brody's girlfriend Lara Lieto in Elie Saab.

Dita von Teese in a coral red lace three-quarter length sleeve Elie Saab Couture dress and Louboutin pumps. Two more in red: Karine Lima and Carly Steel.

Milla Jovovich was back on the red carpet. This time she wore Prada that is very unflattering on her. Sharon Stone in electric blue Roberto Cavalli.

Alec Baldwin's wife Hilaria was pretty at photocall for Seduced and Abandoned. More blue dresses: ruffle lace gown on Mona Abou Hamze and Moran Atias in satin Roberto Cavalli.

Chanel Iman in strepless black gown. Nothing special. Julie De Bona in black dress from front and white at the back. This back white bow part almost looks like a little wings. Clotilde Courau in white sleeved Valentino.

Another model Jessica Hart in florescent pink Emilio Pucci gown and French actress Beatrice Rosen.

Who said that wearing pants on red carpet must be boring? Li Yuchun in Gareth Pugh pants with train outfit and Bai Ling in skulls outfit, would definitely disagree.

You would never guess who else was at the red carpet! Remember Finnish F1 champion Mika Hakkinen? He was posing with girlfriend Marketa Kromatowa. German actress Julia Dietze in the middle plus Karine Silla and Vincent Perez.

Worst Dressed of the evening. Adriana Karembeu and Valeria Marini. Adriana wore Jitrois black leather dress with a nude underlay and long extension floor length fringe. I don't know why I even put Valeria here? She always looks dreadful.
