PLOT
Sequel to the 2010 film Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief continues the adventures of Percy Jackson (Logan Lerman) and his friends, as they search for the Golden Fleece at the eponymous Sea of Monsters (better known to the humans as the Bermuda Triangle) in order to save an ailing magical tree that protects their home from foes.

REVIEW
More toned down sequel is mediocre on almost every level. Very simple and a predictable (almost boring) plot, average script with too much corny lines, special effects were just ok and funny parts were not that funny. There is an action but to be honest, I expected more action and time on the sea. On the positive side, there is not much violence, pace of the film is good. I also liked mythology part of the film and that some things didn't draw too much attention, for example relationship between Percy and Annabeth. Acting is solid, but Nathan Fillion was awesome portraying Hermes. And locations of filming were nice too. Film is solid but there is nothing really exciting about it (except the sequence with Nathan and the locations). Decent sequel. 3/5
