Beautiful entertaining homage to food!

PLOT
Carl Casper (Jon Favreau) is a professional chef who, after a public altercation with a food critic Ramsey Michel (Oliver Platt), quits his job at a popular Los Angeles restaurant and returns to his home town of Miami to fix up a food truck. He reconnects with his ex-wife Inez (Sofía Vergara) and invites their young son Percy (Emjay Anthony) to join him in driving the truck back to L.A. while selling Cubanos in various cities along the way.

REVIEW
Loved it! I'm a foodie so watching this was really enjoyable! Yes, film's plot is predictable, everything is simplified and the beginning is a bit slow-paced but the positives outweigh the negatives. I found this comedy honest (both comic and touching), believable, without unnecessary drama and with a great charming cast! It's just one of those rare feel-good exuberant comedies with a great flavor! 4/5
