PLOT
American biographical sports film about the life of baseball player Jackie Robinson (Chadwick Boseman), who got the chance in a major baseball league under the guidance of team executive Branch Rickey (Harrison Ford). Robinson's signing with the Brooklyn Dodgers made him the first African-American player to break the baseball color barrier. And you can imagine that that road was tough.

REVIEW
Film starts right away and continues with good paste. I think the creators of the movie did an amazing job because it's not only about Jackie but finds balance between his story, baseball and racial segregation. Actors did an amazing job and I like that the movie feels real but not overdramatic. You might be surprised by romance and humor in the film. Jokes aren't cliché or cheap, romantic parts are not cheesy. Some movies just want too much things out of it but this one manages to do that brilliantly. You still need a reason to see this film? It's also educational, inspirational and you don't have to be a baseball/sports fan to enjoy this film. Definitely worth watching. Watch it! 4/5
