Dreadful sci fi story of Noah's Ark!

PLOT
Biblically inspired epic film that is loosely based on the story of Noah's Ark. Noah (Russell Crowe) is living with his wife Naameh (Jennifer Connelly) and their sons Shem (Douglas Booth), Ham (Logan Lerman), Japheth (Leo McHugh Carroll) and adopted girl Ila (Emma Watson). After seeing a flower grow instantly from the ground and haunted by vivid dreams of a great flood, Noah starts discover his destiny.

REVIEW
I love Darren's sense of direction and amazing, strong visuals. Artistry is thrilling and honestly the biggest reason why film is watchable. Besides that, I wasn't impressed at all! Clumsy plot that felt empty (didn't convince me), same with the script, not the best performances from otherwise great actors (Russell, Jennifer) plus way too long and melodramatic. I tought story would be greater, spectacular, Ark something more than a wooden box, etc. And I was looking forward to the animal scenes but was really disappointed because they were hardly any scene with them. I guess this movie just wasn't my cup of tea. 2/5
