Romantic comedy spoof gone wrong!

PLOT
When Joel (Paul Rudd) and Molly (Amy Poehler) meet, it's hate at first sight: his big Corporate Candy Company threatens to shut down her quirky little sweets shop. Hate turns into love but can it last?

REVIEW
Firstly. It is a parody of romantic comedies so don't be surprised about absurd approach and bizarre scenes. The movie works for some, but it just didn't capture 'the thing' for me. I know what the film is trying to do and say but I don't find it funny or clever. Those who love films already know all the cliches and rom com stereotypes. All of these could be in a sketch, no need for a film. Classic plot with not that original idea and forced at times. On the bright side. Maybe you never tought about comedies this way. Also Paul and Amy have good on screen chemistry that really helps drive the film forward. 2/5
