It was ok and there it's not much to say about it. I liked the 'in memoriam' part and clip before Carol Burnett got Life Achievement Award. And there was no annoying music that interrupts the speeches which was nice...
Red carpet! This time it would be easier to find least favorite red carpet looks but some were good! My favorite were...
Laura Prepon wore a Carmen Marc Valvo Couture dress, Olgana Paris heels, a Hunting Season clutch, Forevermark Diamonds choker and bracelets, a Dena Kemp ring and Stephen Webster earrings. It's a quite simple look but I like it.
Rachel McAdams looked amazing in black Elie Saab dress, Brian Atwood shoes, a Jimmy Choo clutch, Harry Kotlar diamond earrings and rings, and a Le Vian diamond ring.
Marisa Tomei in a Zuhair Murad gown, Beladora jewelry, a Sethi Couture ring with a bag and shoes by Christian Louboutin. It's a safe look but ok.
Sophie Turner I think was my favorite in a Carolina Herrera gown with a Jimmy Choo clutch and shoes. Just lovely!
Saoirse Ronan in a Michael Kors Collection dress, Forevermark Diamonds jewelry and Giuseppe Zanotti shoes. I love her hair and make up with this dress even more.
Naomi Watts wore a blue Burberry dress, Jimmy Choo shoes, a Judith Leiber bag and Bulgari jewels. Like!
Lily Rabe also looked good in a Lela Rose dress, Stuart Weitzman shoes, a Lee Savage clutch, and Lorraine Schwartz jewels.
I decided I will also post what winners wore despite I didn't like their dresses. Alicia Vikander shimmered in a Louis Vuitton gown. Brie Larson opted for an Atelier Versace dress, a Roger Vivier clutch and shoes, and Tiffany & Co earrings and bracelet. Uzo Aduba wore a green Zac Posen dress, Sergio Rossi shoes, Marina B and Kwiat jewelry, and a Khirma bag.
Viola Davis wore a lavender Zac Posen dress and Buccellati jewelry. Queen Latifah looks better and better. She opted for a Michael Costello dress, Bavna earrings, and a Rauwolf bag.
