Happy Birthday - Johnny Depp (51)

Happy 51th Birthday to one and only... Johnny Depp!

What can I say? I'm his fan since forever! Last year Mr. Depp turned 50 (click), he's a great actor, artist and unique person!

FILMS
This year he was in Transcendence and there is more to expect: mystery crime thriller London Fields (also starring Amber Heard, Jim Sturgess, Lily Cole and Cara Delevingne), highly anticipated Into the Woods, plus he's rumored to be in horror Tusk. Next year we'll see him in action comedy Mortdecai and action drama that he's currently shooting called Black Mass (with Benedict Cumberbatch, Juno Temple and Dakota Johnson among others)! If that is not good enough, Johnny will reprise his role as Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales and as Mad Hatter in Through the Looking Glass!

PERSONAL
After spearation from Vanessa Paradis in June 2012, he has been dating Amber Heard and the couple is already engaged! Johnny and Vanessa have two children: daughter Lily-Rose Melody (born 1999) and son Jack (born 2002).

BIRTHDAY SPECIAL: What's your favourite Johnny Depp movie?
Because I'm a fan and seen all of his movies that came out (except this year's Transcendence), I get that question a lot. And it's always so hard to answer. Here is my top 7 list. They are my personal favorites even though from critical point of view they are not all great.

1. Edward Scissorhands (1990)
It win my heart so many year back and still does.

2. Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003)
I like all POTC movies but first is still the first. Original, witty, fun!

3. Sleepy Hollow (1999)
I was obsessed with this one and watch just a segment every day for a while. I love the legend, the atmosphere, costumes and makeup, romance, mystery, the script... just everything!

4. Finding Neverland (2004)
It's hard not to love this fillm if you're a dreamer.

5. Chocolat (2000)
Predictability is totally fine if you have such a wonderful simple love story.

6. Corpse Bride (2005)
I love animation, Tim Burton an Johnny so there is no surprise Corpse Bride is on my list. Johnny was amazing as Rango as well but voice of Victor Van Dort and a morbid merry tale find more place in my heart.

7. What's Eating Gilbert Grape (1993)
Another 'sensitive misfit' story but executed perfectly and just warm, real and excellent film!

To make Monday a bit merrier, here are also 25 quotes from Pirates. Enjoy ;)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Johnny! Stay healthy, in love, wicked, nice and cool! Best of luck in the future!
