The Night Manager is a British American television show based on the 1993 novel of the same name by John le Carré.
What is it about? Former British soldier Jonathan Pine (Tom Hiddleston) is recruited by Angela Burr (Olivia Colman), an intelligence operative. He is tasked to navigate Whitehall and Washington, D.C. where there is an alliance between the intelligence community and the secret arms trade. He must infiltrate the inner circle of arms dealer Richard Onslow Roper (Hugh Laurie), Roper's girlfriend Jed (Elizabeth Debicki) and associate Corkoran (Tom Hollander).
This is a classy political spy thriller! The storyline is well written, it's straightforward, stylish, scenery is beautiful. You are immediately captivated by what is going on screen and care for the characters. Tom Hiddleston is just brilliant and other cast members as well. Impressed.
Six episodes of amazing, especially last two are so tense and gripping! Aaaa, I loved it!
