2014 Hollywood Film Awards Red Carpet

New red carpet recap. This time from yesterday's (November 14) 18th Annual Hollywood Film Awards at the Palladium in Hollywood, California. The event was broadcast for the first time this year. You can see the Winners here.

Jennifer Lopez looked amazing in a Zuhair Murad dress, Brian Atwood black pumps and jewelry by Norman Silverman and EFFY Jewelry. She was in attendance to present the award for Best Animated Film to How to Train Your Dragon 2, but she had a little trouble getting her words out. Jennifer kept saying How to DRAIN Your Dragon over and over before finally getting it right. She had a couple other mishaps during her speech and then Gerard Butler teased her while accepting the award. You can see cute Jen's giggles here. Speaking of Gerry. He celebrated his 45th birthday on Thursday and also posed with Hilary Swank. They starred together in one of my favorite romantic dramas P.S. I Love You so it was lovely seeing them together again.

Hilary wore an Oakwell Couture sequinned white dress with pops of pink and green, styled with Christian Louboutin pumps, a fuchsia pink Judith Lieberman clutch and Graziela Gems jewelry. Nice.

Amy Adams in a patterned shift Christian Dior dress, styled with a complementary pair of Paul Andrew bordeaux pumps and sparkling Bvlgari jewels.

Shailene Woodley in head-to-toe Valentino. This plunging silk chiffon gown with starfish pattern was perfect for her. Jenna Dewan-Tatum in a Reem Acra gown with cut-out beaded top half and white flowing skirt styled with Brian Atwood shoes. Jing Tian in a shimmering Dior Haute Couture ball gown with a red back, Dior clutch and jewelry plus red nails and lips to keep the grey-red theme going. All three look charming.

Then we have two winners in white. Keira Knightley in a Giambatista Valli gown with cherry blossom design around the shoulders, silver strappy heels and Harry Winston jewels. Julianne Moore in a Balenciaga dress with sheer sleeves and a clean silhouette, white heels and clutch, plus Harry Winston earrings.

Black. Laura Dern in a dramatic off-the-shoulder Alberta Ferretti gown and an Ethan K clutch. Gillian Flynn also in strepless gown. She wore a semi-sheer dress with black pumps. Felicity Jones donned a flowing Alexander McQueen gown with semi-sheer skirt and Brian Atwood shoes. I think high-low and sheer dressed can be very tricky and I'm not a fan of either of them.

Angelina Jolie opted for a strapless custom-made Atelier Versace floor-length grey cashmere form fitting gown. Keltie Knight in a bright yellow tiered gown, Maitland Ward in a grey strapless number with peacock feather design and Brooke Anderson in a sparkling dress.

Lauren Elizabeth in a white suit dress with long sleeves, Kristen Stewart in a grey mesh cropped top over a flared Chanel dress-skirt with Casadei grey suede pumps and Reese Witherspoon in a strapless tea length red and black J. Mendel silk chiffon frock with Harry Winston jewelry.

Emily Ratajkowski in a black DVF jumpsuit with a red pout. Janelle Monae wore a monochrome look, a kate spade new york dress and clutch, Jimmy Choo shoes, Gladys Tamez hat, Neil Lane and Kwiat jewelry. We've also seen her on stage wearing a different outfit. Geena Davis in a black and white look as well.

Kim Dickens opted for a figure-hugging Lorena Sarbudress with embellished part and Jacob & Co. jewelry. Queen Latifah looked good in a champagne fishtail Badgley Mischka mermaid gown. Carly Steel in red dress and Missi Pyle in a turquoise slip-style frock.

Teala Dunn in white mini, Gayle King in a sequinned green frock, Taryn Southern in a black top and white skirt and Amanda Steele in a crop top ensemble with trousers.

Who impressed you most?
