2014 LACMA Art + Film Gala Red Carpet

It was a busy weekend. Gucci presented the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s (LACMA) fourth annual Art+Film Gala on Saturday (November 1) in Los Angeles, which was co-chaired by LACMA Trustee Eva Chow and actor Leonardo DiCaprio, with Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini as Gala Host Committee Chair. The evening honoured artist Barbara Kruger and filmmaker Quentin Tarantino. Take a look at stylish 2014 LACMA Art + Film Gala red carpet!

Cara Delevingne debuted a new light brown hairdo paired with a long draped gown featuring a high slit and asymmetrical collar.

Evan Rachel Wood wore a Gucci black long-sleeved gown infused with some gothic flavour via the lace inserts at the bodice and sleeves. A rouge lip, black embellished Gucci heels and satin box clutch rounded out her look.

Kate Hudson had the honour of wearing a Gucci Première gown. A soft rose silk chiffon one-shoulder gown featuring a twisted tulle overlay on a fully embroidered skirt and bodice gave a faint glimmer as she walked the red carpet. She styled the look with a silver satin embroidered clutch and a pink lip for a delightful pop of colour.

Kate Beckinsale wore a Gucci gown featuring jewelled detailing, a high side slit and an open back. Kate styled her look with a Rauwolf clutch, Jack Vartanian diamond earrings and nude Gucci crystal-encrusted sandals.

Salma Hayek in a Gucci ivory gown enriched with black diamond and crystal embroidered shoulder straps. She styled the dress with Boucheron jewels, Gucci metallic-silver leather sandals and a silver Gucci box clutch.

Amy Adams opted for royal blue Gucci gown with shimmering antique beading and glass embroidery at the neckline and waist. Styled with a pair of black patent-leather heels, the look was complete with glossy waves and glossier lips.

Jennifer Lopez glided down the red carpet wearing a Gucci Première navy blue deep-plunging gown fully embroidered with Montana blue crystals and metallic paillettes. Styling her look with soft subtle waves, neutral makeup, striking jewels including Jorge Adeler diamond earrings and three Le Vian rings and a complementary clutch.

Kirsten Dunst wore a Gucci black silk crepe gown with a pointy collar and open-back detail, which she styled with a pair of black high heeled crystal-encrusted Gucci sandals and a black clutch.

Camilla Belle wore a look from the Gucci Cruise 2015 collection, selecting yet another pale blue frock. Halter gown amplified by spectacular silver crystal-embellished tubular detailing and an open back was elegantly styled with a pair of metallic-silver leather Gucci sandals, a Gucci metallic-silver box clutch and Gucci jewels.

Demi Moore looked good in a Zac Posen gown with Neil Lane jewels.

Toni Garrn in a pale blue long-sleeved Gucci gown with silver crystal-embellished tubular detailing around the neckline. Hair and makeup were kept simple with Gucci jewels adding a touch of sparkle.

Rachel Zoe wore a Valentino gown in a salmon-pink color. She effortlessly styled the piece with a selection of gold accessories including David Webb jewels and a soft pink glossy lip.

Rie Rasmussen opted for a dark blue gown with sleeves and black details.

Nicola Peltz in black Gucci dress, China Chow in a Hershey Bar wrapper-inspired dress and Dakota Johnson in nude strepless gown with gold details. Still too plain. And what's up with the hair?

Cindy Crawford in a Roberto Cavalli dress, Selena Gomez in a Gucci pale-grey silk dress, one of the worst Liberty Ross and Stefanie Sherk in lavender frock with Demian Bichir.

Florence Welch loves her boho style and this time was no different. The singer wore a Gucci long-sleeved patchwork-printed silk shirt with black contrast stitching with matching trousers. Paired with metallic green python high heels and a satin Bamboo clutch, she completed her look with Gucci jewellery.

Kim Kardashian in Cushnie et Ochs petrol-blue one-shoulder gown featuring a draped neck, thin halter strap and asymmetrical hem is way too tight around the hips for her. Look unforgivable and all over the place.

I could say the same for Riley Keough and Rhona Mitra.

Eva and Asia Chow wore quite minimalist dresses. Charlotte Casiraghi wore a Gucci blue and green embroidered halter-neck gown accented with a belt and styled with a pair of metallic Gucci heels and a metallic blue leather Gucci box clutch. Jennifer Tilly too plainand in black star gown and Lotte Verbeek in an awful spaghetti strap dress.

Up to knee dress. Marg Helgenberger in a fit black dress, Michelle Rodriguez in white Edition by George Chakra with a House of Lavande Vintage bracelet, Jennifer Missoni in red floral frock and Courtney Eaton in a black suit dress.

Dawn Hudson and Angela Bellotte were noticeable for unflattering reason, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Rosanna Arquette both wore Gucci and Frida Giannini in a black long sleeved floorlength number.

BEST: Kate Hudson, Cara Delevingne, Evan Rachel Wood, Camilla Belle

WORST: Liberty Ross, Florence Welch, Kim Kardashian and Lotte Verbeek
