Happy Birthday - Celine Dion (45)

Another great musician is having birthday today. Canadian singer Celine Dion is celebrating 45 Birthday! Some nowadays singers may have style, some are known for their performances but voice like Celine's is surely one of a kind! This year we can expect her 10th album in English called Water and a Flame which will contain cover songs performed in her Las Vegas show as well as new songs.

If she likes it or not, she'll always be associated with Titanic theme song My Heart Will Go On. It really was and still is such a powerful song. And did you know that Celine emerged as a teen star in the French-speaking world and later gained international recognition in the 1980s by winning the Yamaha World Popular Song Festival and the 1988 Eurovision Song Contest where she represented Switzerland? No, it's no surprise that she is best-selling Canadian artist of all time!

She's done 12 albums in French language, 9 in English and 3 Holiday albums. You may know songs like: I'm Alive, The Power Of Love, Alone, Because You Loved Me, A New Day Has Come and one of may favorites That's The Way It Is. Positive song with faith in love.

And Celine's love story is definitely rare. She met her husband Rene Angelil in 1980 (she was 12 and he was 38), after she and her mother sent him a demo tape of a song they had written. They began a relationship in 1987, became engaged in 1991 and got married in December 1994. They have 3 children: René-Charles is 12 year old and two fraternal twins Eddy and Nelson, who are now 2 years old.
