International Day of Happiness 2013

Not only is a first day of Spring, it's also International Day of Happiness!

Last year the United Nations (UN) declared March 20 to be observed as the International Day of Happiness.

Why?
International Day of Happiness aims to promote the idea that the pursuit of happiness is universal and a fundamental human goal so it calls upon countries to approach public policies in ways that improve the well being of all peoples.

The initiative to declare a day of happiness came from Bhutan (u can read more here), a country whose citizens are considered to be some of the happiest people in the world.
