2014 Met Gala (part II)

More dramatic looks and ball gowns from 2014 Met Gala.

I love many outfits here so I won't waste any more time. Oh, if you missed first part - click.

Two lovely ladies. Allison Williams in a springtime coral shade Oscar de la Renta gown with sweeping train complemented by Fred Leighton jewels and Brian Atwood heels. Diane Kruger in ice-blue fully embellished Hugo Boss gown. Her partner Joshua Jackson also in Hugo Boss suit. There is no secret they are one of my favorite celebrity couples. They look so cute together!

Jessica Alba in custom gold lace gown by Diane von Furstenberg and Amber Heard in shimmering Giambattista Valli Couture. Her fiancée Johnny Depp in Ralph Lauren. I wish Jess would wear something bolder while I like Amber. She looks tall and becaus of her red lips and nail the look is not that boring.

My fav gal in red was definitely Anne Hathaway in Calvin Klein strapless square-neckline gown featuring a sheer insert at the waist and a central slit in the skirt. Charlize Theron in classy yet modern Dior Couture gown with a chic tuxedo jacket thrown over her shoulders. She walked the red carpet with boyfriend Sean Penn.

Rihanna in custom Stella McCartney creation with Jacob & Co. and Dionea Orcini jewelry. I'm not a big fan of pointedly revealing cropped top (except bold shoulders) but I like gracious glam exquisitely draped long skirt and train. Her hair is not the best either while I love the jewelry (rings).

Hailee Steinfeld in Prabal Gurung gown black and white, high-low trend with a sweeping train. It's something about black and white I really enjoy. It's same colour but always different. And this shape is so playful and fresh! Kristen Wiig in a custom Balenciaga dress-trousers ensemble. I kind of like it!

Amy Adams in Oscar de la Renta strapless silver gown with a heart-shaped neckline, Arizona Muse in a dramatic raspberry-red silk strapless ballgown from the Ralph & Russo collection and Hayden Panettiere in voluminous water-colored inspired Dennis Basso gown.

More strapless gowns. Emmy Rossum in sculptural Carolina Herrera yellow ball gown with floral print and Ivanka Trump in green Oscar de la Renta dress.

Emma Stone in a custom Thakoon two-piece pink and magenta, colour-block gown. I don't like these two colours together. I like her chunky side braid. Selena Gomez in a V-cut sleek body-hugging custom Diane von Furstenberg gown with dramatic Lorraine Schwartz earrings and a ring. She complete ensemble with a bright berry lip and a chic in the front, intricate in the back updo.

Lupita Nyong’o in custom Prada outfit. Feathered emerald-green netted dress assembled with glass beads, crystals and chandelier drops is unique for sure. Janelle Monae in her usual style: a white blouse and black trousers but she added red and black crewel-embroidered Tadashi Shoji tulle cape. I love her chic braided updo.

Maggie Q in Zac Posen dramatic black dress and Zoe Saldana in Michael Kors dress with V-cut black bodysuit and a poofy optic-white taffeta sculpted skirt.

Old Hollywood glamour is a signature for Taylor Swift so there is no surprise she looked beautiful in a pale pink custom Oscar de la Renta gown styled with Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

Kirsten Dunst in awesome Rodarte Death Star-printed gown, Rachel McAdams in simple elegant sleek strapless Ralph Lauren gown, Lily Allen in many shades of grey by Chanel Couture and Adele Exarchopoulos in Prada satin corseted bustier with a skirt embroidered with mirrors, crystals and bubbles.

Naomi Watts in Givenchy Couture sheer gown while Kate Mara opted for Valentino Couture gown with a sheer neckline and sleeves.

Karen Elson and Dita von Teese wore Zac Posen creations and were accompanied by the designer himself. Karen in powdery color with short sleeves while Dita opted for dramatic red detail at the hem of the pale pink mermaid gown.
